Whats good for the goose is good for the gander... - - Our experience has been that swinger in general seem to be nicer and more open than their prudish cousins. However we must remember that swingers are still a cross section of society and we all know that society in general is well stocked with assholes and unfortunately some will spill over into the lifestyle. All we can do is ignore them and hope they disappear quickly.

Isn't It All About Marketing? - Interesting what people post in profiles and pictures - I find all aspects of the lifestyle interesting. One of the most interesting is what swingers post on these types of sites - who they are, what they are looking for, and their public and private pictures.
Isn't it all about market ourselves? I will not make any judgmental remarks here, because we should not be judgmental in the lifestyle; however, sometimes I wonder what they are trying to communicate.
Because I am a professional website designer I probably look at things differently, also because I am a voyeur I like to see good quality images - ones that show me something about what can be expected in sexual play.
I also wonder if I am reading/seeing more in things that are posted than are really intended - i.e., personality, intelligence, playfulness, etc.
Thus my questions:
Do people take the time here to make a good impression?
Are they trying to open doors or to close deals?
Do they do well at marketing themselves?
Do you have opinions about what is good marketing on a swinger site?

How close is too close - - If you have problems in your marriage, swinging is not going to fix them. I think the excitment of swinging will, perhaps, camoflage them for a short time. But in the long run if there are problems the level of trust that is required to swing -- just will not be there.
But I wonder how our statistics compare to the general public? Are swinging couples getting divorced at a higher or lower rate? Comparing our swinging friends with our vanilla friends, the swingers seem far more happy with and into their mate.
The scenarios and issues raised by this question, happen in and out of swinging.
Remember the joke -- "my wife ran off with my best friend, and boy I am going to miss him". That is a vanilla life joke.
We all need to take care to respect the intimate relationship between other swinging couples. We should all expect others to respect our relationship with our spouse. But in the end, if you trust each other enough to swing successfully, then I think the other issues of life will prove to be fairly easy to handle together.

Bubulaplease - Sandy station? - We went to Sandy Station and were immediately approached by someone who knew we were swingers. I guess we just give off the " I'll fuck the shit out of you." vibe. That being said, we loved the club, the ambience,(except the music) but the people were super nice. Can't wait to go back.
