2004 Arctic Cat King Cat 900 1M - - UHHHH, we thought this was a swingers site.

single males - - Thank you for opening the topic. I hope that it will be used shed some insight and not just complain. In a place like Habits there are vanilla singles that have no clue that swingers congregate there. So there will naturally be more problem in that environment than a private party. At a house party the only people that should be there are those that are invited by the host and hostess. Every one of the guests should have known the rules or etiquette of this lifestyle. If you had complaints, they should have been addressed last night with the hosts. Evidently the balance you were looking for was not there. Sadly it is difficult for most singles to figure out how to talk to a swinging couple. There are no schools or training centers to teach this. As a single male, conversation at a vanilla party with a couple is much easier. Most often the men and women separate and we talk with one or the other without expectations on either side. Sometimes conversation is just conversation. I find that making friends is generally more difficult in this lifestyle because of the sexual expectations of many. I think that you will find a number of the single men, after getting the cold shoulder from many husbands, find it easier to attempt to talk to the women because they lack the skills to talk with both. It is a mistake but it is also part of the learning process. There is no excuse for rude behavior on the part of the single male but neither is there an excuse for the typical married male attitude. Single males are always and have always been a pariah and dam few couples want them at any party. I came into this lifestyle as a single male looking to make male friends to hang with that would help me understand the rules. I found most of the males were cold and suspicious and difficult to talk with. I was not looking for women to play with nearly as much as I was looking for a girlfriend that was already in the lifestyle. But I am sure that as far as most were concerned all I wanted to find was their wife

Carnival Legend March 29 - April 8 - - Any other swingers out there going on this cruise and would like to meet to meet for a drink or two?? J & L

Idea for this website - An official seal of approval for single males - As a long time member of this website (first as the couple "Tequilarose"), I have to say that being a swinger is not exclusive to couples. Swinging means you don't adhere to the exclusive sexual norm ie. 1 on 1 monogamous relationship. A couple is only one facet in the swinging lifestyle. I would also like to add that couples that aren't into single males have a wide variety of reasons for not wanting them. Sometimes it's a fear/insecurity, from the male in a couple, that some guy will come along that's a better lover and take his lady away. Sometimes it's the woman of the relationship that doesn't want another guy, but another woman. For whatever the reason, it comes down to individual choice. If someone doesn't want something, they shouldn't be forced. That being said, I think the same courtesy should be extended to those that wish to entertain singles. If a couple wants a single male or a single female wants a single male, they have every right to be here. If you want a "couples only" section for the website or your party, then go for it. :) Just know that when you say things like, "singles aren't swingers" or "you don't belong here", it really only makes you look and sound like an insecure bigot. How about we allow everyone with a fantasy come here and get what they want. The "Us and Them" thing is not in a true open-minded libertine's vocabulary. If you don't want single males, don't fuck 'em. No one's forcing you to do anything with them. If you don't like the inconvenience of rejecting them, start your own website and disallow them. Otherwise, FUCKIN' DEAL WITH IT! ;) D

Polyamory - Please share your thoughts.... - you can be non-monogamous without being a swinger. polygamists aren't swingers.

seniors - why is it so difficult to find senior swingers or single ladies? - all i can say is WOW

Anyone Been to the Rooftop in Hollywood, Fl? - Swing Club - My husband and I visited for one night (a Friday) in November 2011 and the experience was disappointing. When you pay for a hotel room, you then have access to the rooftop and the interior club rooms. There were only a handful of people present and, unfortunately, they were out of shape and unattractive. I think they may have been nudists instead of Swingers. I will say that the rooftop pool and lounge area is very nice and the water temperature was perfect for a late night swim. The $150 per night hotel room was clean with a kitchenette, but had bathroom plumbing problems.

Male bi - Why all the taboo about male bi - I find controversy within the swinging community almost silly. We are collectively engaged in an activity that most of our non-swinging peers would describe (at least in public) as way out there, far beyond the pale. However within our "open" community a few people tend to limit themselves and try to limit others by saying that I am right and thus everyone else is wrong. We can have open discussion on soft swing and full swap, same room and open. We have clubs and parties and swinging resorts to talk about. Everyone has their own opinion, and most are very open to the opinion of others. One area where the discussion does tend to polarize swingers is the subject of bisexual males. Doesn't this strike you as odd? Bisexual females are perhaps the single most powerful driving force within the swinging community. And bisexual males are the closest thing we have to a paria. Part of that is surely the fear of disease but not entirely. Fear of disease is a clear concern in all swinging and can be controlled. There are far fewer bisexual males in swinging than besexual females but we do not exclude straight females. Why the exclusion of bisexual males? Perhaps times are changing and bisexual males will become an accepted part of the swinging community. In the interim we intend to at least give them the benefit of the doubt.

How has swinging made your marriage better? - - Communication (REAL communication) is the key but still it's not enough if someone really wants to stray or outright leave. There's been an interesting discussion on another swing site we're on about some of this topic and an old timer on there (who's now divorced) brought up something that we found interesting and that seems to be fairly ubiquitous in the lifestyle. It turns out that most women who have been in the lifestyle for a decent length of time have at one time or another (multiple times for Ms. Evil and some of the ladies we've known for some time) been told by a play partner (more often by a single male or even more often a vanilla guy...lot's of swingers seem to get a thrill out of vanilla hunting I guess) that if they were THEIR partner they would NEVER share them with another man. Think about that for a minute. With the way most women are raised and the messages society pounds into their heads about love, romance, fidelity, etc., how powerful are those words are. In fact let's take a little poll. Are there any women who've been in the lifestyle for, say, at least 5 years and play fairly frequently who have never had a guy tell them or insinuate that? Just curious.

HELP!!! - Need help settling a disagreement between me and the hubby. - I would again say, "That depends." We rarely hook up at parties either but it's because at this point in our swinging career we no longer feel the need/desire to fuck just to say we fucked. We're not prudes by any means but our curiosity has been more than satisfied over the years and we now only hook up with people we find a really good connection with. And we're no longer upset or disappointed when we go out and DON'T hook up, although we have been at times in the past and know quite a few couples who really feel like they've wasted their time (and maybe a good babysitter) when they don't hook up. It very much depends on who we meet at a party, how well we connect, our general mood and other intangibles. We've found that there are generally two types of swingers; those who really just want to forego all the bullshit and fuck and those who want to get to know people a little bit first (even if just briefly) before they decide if they want to fuck them. Which type you are will likely determine how often you hook up. But you know what? There isn't just one way to swing.
