I think animals weren't/aren't monogamous with a few exceptions such as wolves, peregrine falcons, penguins, and dolphins if i'm remembering correctly. i don't think i'd call it the same concept as swinging, but the idea was for the dominant male to spread his genes around as much as possible. whereas the females would attempt to mate with multiple males as to get more assistance with upbringing as well as pass on her own genes. that's my theory anywho. may or may not be even close to the truth, but it makes sense to me.

Yes, I read the article. Our experience (getting close to 30 years in the swinging trenches) has shown that the authorities almost invariably use other (easier to prosecute) issues to shut down naughty things like swinging parties. Recently in Texas they're trying to use zoning ordinances and disturbing the peace and, believe it or not, parking ordinances. Quite often it's alcohol related. Not too many years ago with a local, fairly prominent swinger who held frequent parties in his upscale neighborhood they nailed him for providing alcohol to minors (apparently one girl at one of his parties was not yet 21).
And I would ague that Las Vegas is anything but tolerant for swingers parties or really anything related to sex. They love to sell the idea of sex but when the rubber meets the road they are as intolerant as anywhere we've been. I don't remember the last hotel takeover we attended in Vegas where a topless pool wasn't promised and then shut down by the local authorities. Of course the big money hotels have absolutely no problem providing topless pools...if they can charge a hefty premium to do so. Vegas is all sizzle and no steak (in the vernacular of my grandfather).

There is no argument nor debate. Sorry for you mask protagonists, but you lost. There are mandates all over the country and we still keep pumping out huge numbers of new cases every single day.
The only thing this mask mandate ever did was enable people to feel empowered and place blame in others. We are all fighting the same virus, all of us, but people who buy in and think they are better or smarter than others take this as a way to point fingers.
You posted a news story that labeled every swinger at that a party as a SPREADER and the party it’s self as a SUPERSPREADER event. This is 100% backed up by facts that includes testing everyone at the party for covid, finding some with advanced cases that cause almost everyone else to leave that party with covid right? Or in reality they busted a swingers party and have no real fact that covid was involved in any way. This is called non-factual news.
Reposting non factual news, and labeling people who decide to go out and live as “spreaders” is the same VERY POOR TASTE as labeling all the homeless people in Pioneer Park as HIV STD needle junkies. You have facts to back that up to right? Or again, you’re throwing labels on people you feel are less than you and don’t fit nor follow your views. I’m sorry but those people living in the park are people too.
We love swinging because we love people. New faces, old faces, all of them. We have dear friends in the lifestyle we do NOT share the same views on politics nor covid. But when you sit down and hang out you find that we are all so similar. We wanna live happily, feel safe, and have a little fun when we can.
What the world needs right now is love and compassion, not finger pointing and blame. How about we all make a deal on this forum to only post when we have something positive to say about someone else, or something fun and exciting we want to try or do. When we have an urge to repost or comment on something negative we put the phone down, take a deep breath, and put that energy towards something positive like pleasing our spouse or sending a lifestyle friend a compliment and let all the negative shit get buried under the positive!

Okay, Last year we went to Vegas. We were across the street from the Hard Rock. OMG there were tons of people being brought by limo's to the club both nights. We got busy doing other things....like hanging out with Bill my Prono boyfriend and his sexy lady N. Haha. However, It looked amazing. I was the only one ready to go....just not by myself. This red head would of had a great time on her own. hehehe

Worst advise I can think of... It defeats one of the biggest attractions of Lava, which is once you park your car for the weekend it doesn't move until you go home.
I can think of few things less fun than driving 35 minutes on mountain roads after a couple of drinks at the Blue Moon or visiting Lava and being tagged the designated driver. Everyone that parties goes to the Blue Moon as that is where the fun is at in the evening.
For those who have never done Lava the main attractions in the summer are tubing the river and the Blue Moon, while the main attractions in the winter are the hot springs and the Blue Moon. There are other things to do and you can mix and match, but we've found that is how our time breaks out when we're not fucking.
We visit Lava 5 or 6 times a year, of those maybe two are for LS Events, two for romantic getaways and two for friends and family.
Lava is known as a local Idaho and Utah swingers destination and there are many there every weekend. The problem is you need to have your meet ups scheduled before arriving as it's almost impossible to sort the LS from the vanilla on site.
Risqué Soiree held an event in Lava last spring that was very fun and well attended, we hope they do it again this year. It was a great event for those new to the LS or anyone wanting to meet friends. Also because it involved both Idaho and Utah there was a lot more interaction than many meet ups where people have a tendency to group up with those they already know.
Lava is one of those places you will either fall in love with and visit often, or visit once to say you have been there and done that and never return. But one thing I can promise, and that is if your room is in Pocatello you'll never understand the nuances that make Lava so charming to many. If you want big fancy hotels and everything about your visit orchestrated you would be much better advised to spend your vacation in Vegas as you will not be happy in Lava.
Anyhoo... that's our two cents, your mileage may vary.

I didnt even think about lending him a elbow or whatever till the next day. Thats why I put this post up. I wondered if I should have put a gap in his teeth or if I did the right thing. I second guessed my self the following day. I guess if he didnt take her NO and he moved forward he woulod be wearing a black and blue sumthing but he backed off with his tail between his leg and I couldnt help but laugh at him. Thanks for the replys. And I wont go back to that swingers club no more even if I shouldnt blame the club. I rather stick with private cpl to cpl house parties anyway.
