Swingers Party - Doesnt mean who ever is there is open to everyone elsa - We went to a Swingers Party for the New Year and have to say it was the worse I ever been to. Maybe it was us but I dont think if you go to a swingers party gives anyone the right to stick their tongue in your mouth that you dont know. I saw this going on and thought well alot of people here know eachother. Nope, turns out that wasnt the case. Most seem to enjoy the hellow I am so and so now open your mouth I am coming in. I been in the swing life style for more than 10 years and I dont ever think I put my tongue down anyones wife. And I never had it happen to my wife. So when some guy walks up and within mins of small talk goes after my wife with open mouth the first thing I thought of was to see how she handles it. I know my wife like most of us do. After she let him know that wasnt her thing she turned to me and started to tell me how most the guys acted when I wasnt in eye sight. I wasnt to happen to learn that everything I thought I knew about swingers came to a end. I always went to meet people and if we found a cpl we like took it from there. Didnt know if you attend a swingers party your free game for anyone. I wont attend another party with this group again. So , am I going over board with this or am I in the right?
Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - The term "swinger" is a label, plain and simple.
I like to think that sexuality is about the moment, not some label.
These days I tend to get pissy when someone refers to me as a "swinger". Its lumping me together with people that are not at all like me.
Respect...Needed? or just forgotten. - - The various points that have been made are well taken.
We have been approached by people who are rude or crass. Typically it is a single male, often married pretending to be single or the de facto single male -- half of a vanilla couple pretending to be a swinging couple.
I have several observations:
This single male is far more likely to be a trial member.
They have little or no real knowledge of swinging and it shows.
They don\'t expect to be invited to join the couple or single female they approach.
They simply find a cheap thrill in the crass sexaulity of the rude note they send.
(I suspect they type them with one hand.)
If given the oportunity (which their approach itself precludes) they would not play.
Don\'t confuse them with the polite & respectful single males that are a part of swinging.
We jokingly refer to them as hard-ons. They think because they once had a hard on -- they are qualified to swing. My FAVORITES are the ones that will \"let you watch\" or \"don\'t mind if you joins in\" as if somehow by their offer alone -- Belinda becomes theirs.
You will see them at the clubs. Somehow they come up with the courage to go to a swingers club that allows single males. They are the males that hide in a corner too afraid to approach anyone or they are the males that come into the room with attitude written all over them -- as if saying \"I paid my fees -- who do I get to fuck\".
If he is found out, the male half of the vanilla couple will stamp and stammer and claim that either he has his wife\'s permission or that she is cold and he is not getting any at home. Given their approach to sex. I have figured out, at least in part, why they are not getting any at home.
I was raised by a very southern, very polite, Daughters of the Confederacy -- mother. Thus I had to endure the suffering born of numerous catillions or formal dances. Everyone knew everyone at the dances. Everyone knew that everyone was there to dance. But you went through the rituals of an introduction and small talk -- prior to dancing. While this analogy ignores the aspects of friendship that are a part of swinging. I have found that the manners I learned at my mothers knee have served me well in swinging. (Don\'t ya know that would shock the hell out of her!)

Ever Been Roofied At A LS Party?? - - I'm posting this question on a swinger site because it was at a SWINGER party with other SWINGERS. Thankyouverymuch, Rick and Jess.
So here's how it went down: We (me and husband) went to dinner with another LS couple we're very good friends with and have known a long time. While waiting at the restaurant, she and I went to the bar and got 1 glsss of wine. We watched the bartender open and pour the wine (although 1 of us had the bottom of 1 bottle before the next was opened to finish both glasses). We finished our wine while all four of us shared the same sushi. The guys didn't get sick. So we do not believe it was the sushi. We ate at 7:30
After dinner, the four of us went back to our hotel to change for the Casino Royale LS party. She and I had different drinks, but we both used the glasses in the hotel room. Our husbands used the plastic cups. She had 1 shot. I had 1 very small glass of champagne as the glass was barely bigger than a shot glass. Possibly contaminated glasses?
By 10 we were at the party. I played poker, and had 1 1/2 drinks while I played for 1 1/2 hours. One was brought by my husband, the last drink was brought to me by another good friend who I've known about 2 years. My girlfriend had 1 drink made right in front of her by the bartender and that's it.
Within 1/2 hour of arriving, my girlfriend was in the bathroom puking her guts out for about an hour. She almost had to be carried out. Went home and fell asleep on the floor w/o being able to move at all. She had had only 2 drinks the whole night, WITH dinner. She says she wasn't drunk at all when the sickness hit.
About 45 minutes after that, I suddenly felt very ill and had to rush to the bathroom, where I evidently puked for quite a while. I recall bits and pieces of that part, but most of my memory from that portion of the night is gone. That part is suspicious to me. I recall about 10 seconds of my husband helping me out to the car, I recall 2 seconds of puking again at the hotel, and that's it. I don't remember him getting me ready for bed or anything else until morning. I awoke at 5am thinking I was having a heart attack and went to the ER.
So....yes, lots and lots of puking. NO diarrhea. Some memory loss. We both doubt alcohol poisoning as neither of us were drunk when the puking hit. We both felt woozy and weak for about 2 1/2 days. It was Tuesday before I really ate again (her too.). I can't figure out WHY someone would roofie me or her as we were with our spouses. But the fact that we got so violently ill so fast, and the fact that both of us lost our memory for a couple of hours before falling asleep does make us suspicious.
The symptoms are just unclear enough that it could be food poisoning, or it could be a drug. The three drugs I looked up as date rape type drugs have differing symptoms. But I can't imagine anyone giving a woman something that made her violently ill and hoping to benefit from it. That's why I thought I'd see if anyone else in the lifesyle had heard of this or had it happen.
