Is it that a single swinging female is all that elusive, or is it just more likely that a woman who's secure enough in who she is to have a liberated lifestyle is probably more likely to have a boyfriend / husband? Thus making it a simple fact of life and society that the whole concept of a liberated single female is for the most part a myth or at best a temporary state.
Guys are programmed to be tomcats. There comes a time when "every boy must become a man". But little girls are taught that "sex is something only for your husband".
Society accepts single males prowling about generally - that's why when a single guy get shat upon in a swingers site, the resultant wailing bears striking resemblance to a chorus of whining mules. They don't get it: "They don't like me? Why? I'm hot..." Now if a woman were to go out there looking for it, then she's branded a home-wrecker, "slut", "whore", or worse. Tell me you'd sign up for that cruise?
IMHO: I think when a couple starts kvetching about the lack of single females, they might do well to have a look at why it is that they want just a woman and not her S/O. Chances are, deep down those same paradigms that are causing the lack of single females are deeply rooted in their own attitudes.

OK LETS BE HONEST - - I haven't seen this "poll" but I can tell you this was 100% my idea not his. That being said my interest is based in my bi-sexuality, this doesn't mean I'm only interested in the female aspect, but if I were straight I seriously doubt I would have ever been interested in this at all.
If I woke up tomorrow morning "straight" I'd probably turn in my swingers card give my website subscription to a needy couple on a temporary account.

trouble finding play mates in your area - - Our next door neighbors to the south east of us are not swingers. Our next door neighbors to the north west of us are not swingers. I did however see am attractive 40 something neighbor lady across the street and to the east of us get dropped off by another couple one night and the other woman gave her a pretty deep goodbye kiss. Think I will have to shovel her walks more often this winter.

Every now and then a post will pop up on here talking about meeting a couple outside the lifestyle and wanting to ask "Are you swingers?"
Last year my family and I moved up to Spokane Washington and once we got settled in got to know our neighbors. Turned out the couple next door was near our age and had a daughter close to our sons age, so instant parental friendship since our little ones hit it off.
After a while of getting to know them we became better friends and that question started to kind of creep up in my mind. One sunday looking through a swinger website I happend across a couple who lived in our town, about our age similar intrests and they looked vaguely fimiliar. it wasn't till I got further into their photo albums that I recognized the tattoo on the male half of our neighbors upper arm.
I started laughing and called out to my wife "you'll never believe this!" I kept laughing and told her "I knew there was another reason we got along so well."
Turned out that we weren't what they normally look for in fuck buddies but the friendship we had built up more then made up for the differences. So its been a year and occassionally we still get together for fun time. Its nice to be able to go over to each others houses on the premise of a sleep over and just wait for the little ones to tire themselves out. Then tire ourselves out.
Not sure if thats the kind of stuff your looking for but I find it amusing.

Happy Fathers Day - Hope it has ~ - Massage I think I understand where you're going. The first response I read before you edited. I think your doing what they people who classify single males in one group are doing. And broad group everyone. What you covered goes over so many different types of swingers. I'll explain me in part now and yes she reads what I type and gives me input, she just isn't into posting on sites like this. Many of us are not on here for either of us specially where on here for each other this is a swinger site I don't come here for single males. I come here to find couple's for both of us.
The fact my wife didn't realize till I told her last month is when it comes to single males I'm so picky. I'm bi sexual as many know I can post on a site like grinder and I will get sexy guys in there 20s in perfect shape messaging me for hook ups. Full disclosure I don't like doing those because of fear of STDs, but the reason I say that is the market for guys is so over supplied, so if me or my wife want a single guy to play with we typically look for that else where. I don't do hook ups with guys neither does she we want relationship with guys or girls then if it comes sex. That's kind of all over the place sorry I write it on my phone. But if single guys wouldn't go against profile requests on this site I think they would have better reputation. Let's face it this is a swinger site so in my opinion single guys are more of guests that need to watch what they say do. Or get replaced. That sounds harsh but it's true. With all that said me and Brenda did find an amazing single guy on this site. But we contacted him.

As I said earlier, I am biting my tongue not screaming out who this person is...but as pointed out above, I would then be the one in trouble...so you ask why did I post this? No it was not to stir the pot or to cause drama (if I had outed them that would be causing drama)...of course I want good to come of this, I want people to realize that we as swingers have a bad rep as it is and we need to be aware that our behavior is seen by others and can affect everyone around us!
I have chosen a side...it's the side of being an adult and abiding by the guidelines that I agreed to when I signed up...I CAN NOT name the person...she knows who she is and she reads these forums and she will see that her behavior has disgusted many and hopefully she will act accordingly next time...the fact that you see me as bad as her...well that is your own opinion, but I know that I did the right thing here....
