People in general are half-baked critters. The hookup scene tends to silently give desperation a pass, which brings out some odd folk.

It's not extremely common, but it happens, and ties into the the desperation remark above. Especially once you're in the mix with people in their late 30's. Shit's no fun at all.

This isn't my first rodeo. I did the majority of screening when rolling as a couple for several years. There are "off" people in the scene, but word spread fast. Whether they are unstable as a couple, or unstable as a person, they tend to burn out and fade out pretty quickly in my experience.
Sexual incompatibility happens, sure, but the odds are good it won't be a first encounter. Friends first (chat friends at the very least) is how I like things.

Pool is well kept, rent able rooms are available but are dated and just OK, well maybe just a little less than OK. Weekdays the residents are a little bit more mature. We agree. There is some really bad behavior that is not "swinging" in the minds of the two of us that is being solicited online in "lifestyle" sites such as Swingular. As an example, Saturday night we had a married man in the chat room, whose whole profile is a declaration that he is bored with his wife and looking to cheat on her hit on us. When we told him no thanks with an explanation, giving him more credit than he deserved, he suggested that we had a problem. We think it is really disrespectful for a man such as this guy to suggest or request or whatever he wants to call it that we would be party to his deception in any way shape or form. That is cheating and not swinging. We had a similar request with a similar response from another married man that said he had his wife's permission a week earlier. We are explicit in explaining why these men are barking up the wrong tree in our profile content. We would expect to be treated better by some shyster car-sales-man selling and misrepresenting run down used jalopies than we get from some limp and boring males that have the audacity to suggest we would even want to know someone of such low character let alone even consider including anything to do with sexual intimacy.
