sluts? what? - how so? -

There is a book called "The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities" written by Dossie Easton and Janet Hardy that defines Slut in a positive light. They might be using slut in that context. The book has been very popular with swingers for quite a few years.
I would hope they are using it in that sense.. but words that compile around the slut term make it strongly seem like it's a negative term.. sadly..
If they are using it in a derogatory sense it may be because they are experiencing a certain level of self loathing because they are struggling to accept their own sexual nature or they may have peers and family that would do their best to destroy them were they to live so free as you are. I think that the anger that leads to name calling and judgment sometimes is a secondary emotion that people choose to embrace because the primary emotion is much more painful. They may want what you have but lack the confidence or courage to go find it for themselves and so the same people that call someone a slut in the derogatory sense far too often are the same people that go off and struggle with their own sexuality in dark places through lying, cheating, abuse and even darker acts while swimming in a sea of self loathing.
We should all jump up and down and be happy that you are free or striving to become free of such shackles!
That makes sense.. I hope everyone can undo the shackles!! Great understanding..
Swinging versus poly/open - - Off topic just a bit. This site is the primary online gathering spot for swingers, here in Utah. New memberships keep it going. If some of the Ole Timey swingers get a bit frustrated with these new upstart free thinking free loving millennial types, just remember they are keeping your site open. I mean I understand, how can they even put their car keys in the bowl for the wife swap, when they came in an Uber?
RECOGNIZING OTHER SWINGERS - Outside of clubs & parties. - The wrist bands are for swingers at resorts and parties to know what each person or couple is into at a glance.. They use to do it at HEDO and I've heard of a few cruises that did it as well... We have talked about doing this for parties at a nudist resort so all swingers will know who the other swingers are. Some nudists get pissed if you chat swing with them...
I have googled it and see it both ways... I have also heard that LOWES and DEPOT sell flags with Pineapples on them and some swingers use these as markers for house parties....
I somehow, cannot see walking up to someone at the grocery store and asking if they swing!! The pineapple I think is a very good idea...
RECOGNIZING OTHER SWINGERS - Outside of clubs & parties. - Total blank on both.
This is the first I've heard of it.
MSNBC Article on Swingers - actually a positive one :) - We are members of this club.We have been for about three years now. Tabu is a great place to go and meet people or just have fun. There have been many times we (hubby & I) have went to only have sex with each other.
For someone who knows nothing about our lifestyle to go on Blackout night that says a lot about them. There are many themed parties every weekend!!
I would encourge any and all who live in this area or visit add Tabu to your to do list!!! Fun will be had by all!!
Here is the real question....what job do you do that allows you to travel for a few years in your mid 30s and how do I get that gig?!
Ahhh yes, We are in our 30's we have been married for almost 20 years, our family is grown and off to college. We have been business owners since we were in our teens, we have just been lucky enough to be in the right business' We own a couple business' down here and make enough that they will allow us to get out and travel while our manager runs the place :)
We want to go rv'ing with you guys ;)
You know how to find us, lets get together!
We full time R.V'd for 2 yrs. Put smiley face on your door, tell's other swingers you are to. We were told that by excapies at quartsite. We also have full hook-up's
Interesting.... A smiley huh? How many swingers did you meet in your travels at RV parks?
Age differences - How do you handle it - We2, I can understand what you are saying. My first wife was 16 years older then I and my current wife is 6 years younger. First wife helped me to mature early and quickly and current wife keeps me young and on my toes. Seems like most everyone feels similar to us. Maybe the people having the conversation we were involved in should have said the younger swingers that were at the party they were referring to were not as mature instead of saying they are more into flirting and dirty dancing rather then playing.
Swinger & 🦄 Bait - An experiment to attract swingers and unicorns. - Hell I been playing with an LS couple. Just have to use the right bait.
Swingular Changing name to: - I think Swingular should change it's name to "Hateular" - To the single men. You touched on something that always pisses me off. Swinging is about sharing. Since you have nothing to share you have no rights. Single men are not swingers and not part of the LS. Just like the toys in the draw you come out when you are called for. Otherwise keep quiet. You are just looking for a little free pussy to be blunt. You are to cheap to pay for it.
Just to be clear we have played with single men.
Swing Camp (7/15 - 7/17) - Swingers Campout in Birch Creek Idaho - "This one time at Swing Camp..." Do you know how you would complete this sentence? No? Well, come join us for the 1st Annual Black Ring Society of Idaho Swing Camp and let's make some naughty and sexy memories that we can use to complete that sentence!
We are going to host a swinger's campout at Birch Creek Campground (north of Mud Lake on ID-28, more information below) on the weekend of July 15-17. We have reserved Group Site #4 for this event. This is going to be a group event with an admission fee of $15 per person (collected in cash at the event). The admission fee will cover the cost of the campground, the large 6 foot grill that we are going to provide for those tent campers who need something to cook on, and other supplies that we will help provide.
The area we have reserved does not have a LOT of privacy, but we plan to bring several tarps that we can hang up between campers or in other ways to help us provide additional privacy for the things that we would like to do during this event. There is also not going to be a lot of shade other than that which we provide, so if you have a pop-up canopy you can bring, it will surely come in very useful. The campsite is about a quarter mile from the main road and we plan to use campers in a way to block access to the campsite from onlookers. The site is plenty big enough for quite a few campers, so feel free to bring them with the knowledge that there are no hookups there, so this will be dry camping for those bringing their campers. Additionally, if you have them, feel free to bring ATVs because there places to ride up in the area. There is also no place to harvest firewood up there, so be sure to make arrangements for that.
We don't really want to plan a lot of group activities because we want members to have the freedom to do what they wish, but here is what we have planned so far. On Saturday morning, Saturday night, and Sunday morning, we are planning to have a group potluck type of cookout where we will provide a grill to cook what you bring. Depending on how we can arrange things while we are there, we think it would be a great idea for the guys to cook the Saturday night meal nude (or as nude as they feel comfortable) and have the girls cook the Sunday morning meal nude (or as nude as they feel comfortable). Saturday night we have a few group games that we will play with those who are interested.
Campsite Information:
1) Birch Creek Campground website: http://www.blm.gov/id/st/en/visit_and_play/places_to_see/upper_snake_field/Birch_Creek_Campground.html
2) Directions to the campsite: Birch Creek is 66 miles from Idaho Falls (I-15 Exit 116):
1. Take I-15 North to Exit 143 for ID-33
2. At the end of the off-ramp take a left on ID-33 towards Mud Lake.
3. Just after you go through the bustling metropolis of Mud Lake (don't blink of you might miss it), take a right ID-28.
4. 24.5 miles down ID-28, you will see a sign on the left hand side of the road for the Birch Creek Recreational Area - Middle Access (attached to this post).
5. Take a left on to the Middle Access road to the Birch Creek Recreational Area.
6. 0.3 miles down the road, you will come to a fork in the road (the 2nd picture).
7. Take a left at the fork and you will see the sign (on the right) for Group Site #4.
8. Someone from the group will be at the fork to check you in, so be looking for that.
Things to bring (other than normal camping supplies and equipment):
1) $15 per person for admission.
2) Food for your consumption keeping in mind that we will provide a grill for cooking
3) Firewood
4) Pop-up canopy or extra blankets to be used for privacy and/or shade
Even though we KNOW this campsite may not necessarily be ideal for this event, this is the site that we have chosen and reserved, so we plan to make the best of it and we hope that you will be able to join us for this event and have some outdoor fun with us.
