We have friendships with vanilla couples who we think are smoking hot and wish they were in the lifestyle. lol. Perhaps this is a question for another forum thread. But, how does one broach the subject with a vanilla couple who are friends? Does anyone have any success stories of how you converted a vanilla couple friendship to the lifestyle? Personally, we think the best way to broach that subject with vanillas is to just, at some point in the friendship, put it out there that you're swingers and then let the other couple process, digest, and come to terms with that information and do with it what they will. We feel like there are FAR too many swingers who enjoy 'vanilla hunting' and use unfair tactics (alcohol, late nights, etc.), if not outright subterfuge, to try to 'convert' them as, I guess, some kind of power trip. If you let people have the space to come to a rational, informed decision on their own there is, IMO, FAR less chance for drama (or WORSE!) as a sequela.

Game for Swingers - Has anyone heard of a new game for lifestyle couples called Titillation? - We have a game much like Monopoly. Its called pimps and hos its has several expansion card sets from swinger, truth or dare , drinking , charades , sick and twisted and striptease. Its a great icebreaker. Instead of property you buy hoes. upper class hoes cost more but pay more.
Pro's- Lots of choices of cards to add in the mix. From mild to wild

Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - T4 is absolutely right. Swinging is an activity in it's self. Whether Hugh coined the term or not, and whether it did mean couples activity early on, that definition has changed through out the years. Especially with the new generations as it's become more acceptable to be in threesome and foursome situations. Look at MTV, etc... Swinging is a lifestyle and it doesn't make you any less of a swinger if you are single or if you choose to surround yourself in it but are selective in your choices.
Male bi - Why all the taboo about male bi - I find controversy within the swinging community almost silly. We are collectively engaged in an activity that most of our non-swinging peers would describe (at least in public) as way out there, far beyond the pale. However within our "open" community a few people tend to limit themselves and try to limit others by saying that I am right and thus everyone else is wrong.
We can have open discussion on soft swing and full swap, same room and open. We have clubs and parties and swinging resorts to talk about. Everyone has their own opinion, and most are very open to the opinion of others.
One area where the discussion does tend to polarize swingers is the subject of bisexual males.
Doesn't this strike you as odd? Bisexual females are perhaps the single most powerful driving force within the swinging community. And bisexual males are the closest thing we have to a paria.
Part of that is surely the fear of disease but not entirely. Fear of disease is a clear concern in all swinging and can be controlled. There are far fewer bisexual males in swinging than besexual females but we do not exclude straight females. Why the exclusion of bisexual males?
Perhaps times are changing and bisexual males will become an accepted part of the swinging community. In the interim we intend to at least give them the benefit of the doubt.
Another Swingers Show on TV - - That'll be something to be DVR'd.
