I was looking at all the stuff people in my friends list posted today on Facebook and in thinking about these friends it became apparent that quite a few here in Utah, that are married have at some point in their lives together, either shared a girlfriend or had a few sexual encounters with other couples they have met and yet they do not affiliate with the swingers scene or really consider themselves swingers. Most of our non religious single friends have casual sex on an ongoing basis. Non monogamy is becoming more and more widely considered normal and acceptable. I know for a fact that a few of our young and super sexy crowd, that used to be more active here online mostly hook up with people that never had a online profile here or anywhere because they do not see why they need one. I am not sure if on a national level this is true but here in Utah with our thriving "I'm not part of the theocracy" counter culture it seems that hooking up in a manner usually associated with swinging happens a lot and does not require associating with the swing scene for it to happen. Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - I would like to point out one thing, when you are a single male you and you are straight and you want a couple then you bring nothing to table. You have nothing to offer the husband of the couple aside from a show but you are asking the man of the couple to share his wife with you with nothing more then a thank you in exchange, in most cases single men have a gf or wife but simply do not want to risk sharing them because they are afraid of losing them, having them leave or know thats what you want to start doing or will be trying to do or they do not want to take the effort and risk and time to get their partner involved. There is also the point that alot of people have fetish's but I do not know alot of white couples that are interested in black men, not every woman like a cock over 8" either, there are some but we have not met very many and it seems to be a very select group and type of swinger. I'd like some advice.....really, I'm serious. - - We've always gotten a chuckle while running into co-workers on this site, or we discover they are swingers. This has happened quite often, and it's remarkable what a fun common interest it is to have with someone with whom you've only had a working relationship. Monogamy in marriage - An interesting article on the subject - I think the number one reason that a marriage goes off track is the lack of communication. It could show up in fights over money, one or the other cheating because their needs are not taken care of in the marriage, or just about any of the rocks that so many couples run into along the path of married life. One reason I think that swingers tend to be happier and more secure is because without good, open communication swinging can be a minefield.
