Christain Swingers? - - We just wanted to add what we wrote was our personal feelings and yes it's a open wound in our lives. If you can have peace with the two that's a great thing, the last thing we want to do is take you away from it or plant doubts.
Swinging and being In Christ just will not fit with our back ground and how we were taught. We both really wish we could let that go, but we can't as it's too ingrained. Despite the fact that we now know we were taught man twisted lies and distortions of scripture, the whole thing has left such a bad taste in our mouths that we could not even attend more "moderate" churches with out the wounds being opened.
What mostly wanted to say is this is our expeirence and we didn't mean to offend any one. It's just how we feel.

Tired of Politics and Religion! - - Strange - was this forum not here when those that object to it joined? Having been on this site for a long time (first as MelbCpl and now as Swingtide) as far as I can remember it has always had one area that was open to discussion of things like religion and politics. Sometimes we read them and sometimes we ignore them - choice is good. At least to us Swingular is not just a "sex site" but a swinging lifestyle site and for some of us that is more than how many notches you put on your bed during the last party. If anyone wants the other topics to show up more in opening page than make more input into the other areas of the forum. Start new topics in other areas and work to keep them going.
Everyone has their own view of what swinging is all about and that is good - I'd hate to think we had to pass some checklist of qualifications to consider ourselves swingers. The site has room for all types of discussion so enjoy the areas you like and avoid the ones you don't like - not too far off from how most of us deal with what couple we want to be with! Personal choice and allowing other the same freedom of choice seems to fit the idea of the lifestyle :-)

but, sometimes blunt is the way to be. i was just looking through our friend list on another site and was thinking almost the same thing, when i came across this post. it always baffled me why there are three or four people that have us added to there friend list yet never speak or even answer a letter when written? perhaps they just like to look t at our pics?
if thats so, why not try to get together and who knows, maybe see the real thing up close!

Game for Swingers - Has anyone heard of a new game for lifestyle couples called Titillation? - We have a game much like Monopoly. Its called pimps and hos its has several expansion card sets from swinger, truth or dare , drinking , charades , sick and twisted and striptease. Its a great icebreaker. Church Swingers, are they out there? - - Based on interaction with quite a few people at clubs and on the internet, I believe that people tend to keep their religious beliefs and their temporal lives separate, for the most part. Swinging is not part of their religion and religion is not part of their swinging lifestyle. The Japaneese say that they compartmentalize different things in their lives... I think to some extent we all do that as well. We don't bring our work lives into our homes. We don't bring our sex lives to the dinner table. So religion and swinging are no real difference... They may seem incompatable but if kept separate there might be no conflict. As for looking for a church where one can find swingers...... You probably are sitting next to a family who swings in your pew or the pew in front of you... Swingers are just people who have made a choice to enjoy sex with people who they are not married to or partnered with... So I would be interested as to how someone would introduce themselves to someone at church to find out if that couple swings.... I would think that meeting people who swing at other venues would be the ticket and then seeing if it is extended into their church.... Networking is the best way to meet people and ultimately finding those who are church goers...
