Here's something Ive been curious about - - I guess with the mind set of some here, IE singles aren't swingers, one could also make the statement that there's no such thing as swingers. Couples aren't swingers, they're just two people who are married and want some strange and talk each other into it. See how this works? And the comment that singles bring nothing to the table but themselves also applies to couples. You can only bring yourself to the table whether alone or with your partner and your partner does likewise. You just happen to do it at the same time. Come on folks we all participate on what ever level we choose and identify ourselves as we want. Like saying a soft swap couple aren't swingers either because they don't go all the way with others. It seems silly on all counts. As a narwhal(single male) who been in it for a decade now it still amazes me to watch all the who ha over such trivial things as definitions. green door/red rooster - - We live in Las Vegas and have yet to go to any of them :( The main reason being that we use public transportation and only the Green Door is accessible by bus. The nice thing about the Green Door though is that they do free tours. Church Swingers, are they out there? - - I myself, believe that things such as religion (or spiritualality if you prefer) and sexuallity are a personal thing. I think the comments made by SHRED sum it up rather nicely. Having studied religion for 12 years in the catholic school system it seems that most of the organized religions I have any knowledge of, have lost the real point made in the New Testament anyway. It seems often that what is being preached is not what is being practiced or in some cases things have been taken out of context to stress some point of faith or morallity in a distorted way. I personally can not believe that God would want us to live our lives this way. I have to agree with those who say "live and let live" or "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". That seems to be the message I got out of all that religious instruction, but not necessarily what I saw being practiced.
To those who feel they can balance religious practice with this lifestyle, I would say do so if it works for you. It is your personal choice. and thats the way it should be.

Do you kiss first and then ask?? - Does anyone else ask about HSV 1 (oral cold sores) before kissing? - Well the 80% number is for adults.. of course kids who have not kissed yet is less. IT is fairly contagious. Enough that the experts recommend changing towels in the bathroom often if someone in the family has HSV 1. So if a couple got married without many kissing partners when they were young and have been married for 25 years the 80% does not apply. The testing reliability is a problem because of cross counts between HSV 1 & 2 or some technical thing I dont feel like quoting right now. But some positives might be negative however a negative is good new from what I have read.
As far as swingers not playing because they have a tingle in their lip. I dont see that stopping many of the folks we have met at some of these parties.
I hear it all the time life is dangerous and you could get in a car crash today.... YEs but we do what we can to prevent things and some of us more than others.
