We have been in a quad relationship for 2 1/2 years with another couple we met as Swingers. I had not thought about it like that. I guess I was thinking that if he would consider asking a "friend" to consider allowing him to have sex with his wife that he would at least consider letting his friend have sex with his wife too were he married. If he wouldn't then that makes him a bit unilateral in his approach and really his co-worker should recognize early on that they are being used for carnal considerations that fall somewhere in opposition with this fellows own code of ethics. If he means that he cannot see himself as a swinger as in he is not looking to find a mate that would be swing friendly, or feels he can attract or maybe even afford a mate that would be swing friendly or maybe even find a mate at all then that is a bit different. USSIR, If that be the case, that you want to bang his wife, but you would never allow yours to be banged, think again and treat your co-worker and his wife like a friend and an equal rather than a hedonistic opportunity to exploit. Asking him to allow you to do something that you are frankly apposed to and then doing it will most probably reduce your own self esteem as well and it should. Divorce rates - How do we compare - We are a bit of an older couple with a different prospective. Amoung our swinging friends and aquaintances if we were to generalize it is that they are on a second marriage, have been married for 10 years or so and are very happy. Amoung our non-swinging friends they are on their first second, or third marriage and are generally unhappy. I would put the divorce rate amoung the non-swingers at more than double that of the swingers over a 10 year period.

Y'know i can actually think of a reason. Even if most single guys on a swinger site just want to get leid, there are guys who are just as picky about who it's with as most women are. And even if most men are supposedly all about her looks, there are some who are more about attitude and worldview and stuff than they are about looks. And swingers generally have an attitude somehting like "I'm going to do what I think I ought to be doing, not what everyone thinks I'm supposed to do."
