Free Poker in Tampa Bay! - - For any that are interested, we are members in a free Texas Holdem poker league in the Tampa Bay area. If interested, please check out www.treasurechestpoker.com. We go at least three times a week, and would love to meet some of our fellow swingers there! Ron & Chrissy

How has swinging made your marriage better? - - Communication (REAL communication) is the key but still it's not enough if someone really wants to stray or outright leave. There's been an interesting discussion on another swing site we're on about some of this topic and an old timer on there (who's now divorced) brought up something that we found interesting and that seems to be fairly ubiquitous in the lifestyle. It turns out that most women who have been in the lifestyle for a decent length of time have at one time or another (multiple times for Ms. Evil and some of the ladies we've known for some time) been told by a play partner (more often by a single male or even more often a vanilla guy...lot's of swingers seem to get a thrill out of vanilla hunting I guess) that if they were THEIR partner they would NEVER share them with another man. Think about that for a minute. With the way most women are raised and the messages society pounds into their heads about love, romance, fidelity, etc., how powerful are those words are. In fact let's take a little poll. Are there any women who've been in the lifestyle for, say, at least 5 years and play fairly frequently who have never had a guy tell them or insinuate that? Just curious.

IF YOU ARE WITH US - politics - hey not to be rude or anything, but when did a swingers web site for fun and good times become a site for politics? Is there not a better place to have your arguments. Because we all have diferent ideas and thoughts about the goverment and who should be running it. So as others have said we are all intiteled to our opinions, and also keep your opinions to yourself not all want to here them. please take it elswear. so like the subject says IF YOU ARE WITH US post here.

Ogden Lifestyle friendly/popular venues? - Pocatello couple visiting Ogen area this weekend... - Hello, My husband and I are visiting the Ogden area... checking out the Renaissance Faire going on and wanted to find some fun venues other swingers like to hang out at after hours. Appreciate some suggestions as we're not familiar with the area.. Thanks!

Mansion Massage Mixer reviews/info? - - Their ad. states "Single males must bring a date or be accompanied by a hosting couple". We've only been to one so we're going back tonite & see if our 1st impression was correct. #1 The Mansion is a super cool place, well worth visiting. #2 - seemed to be couples in the 30's - 40's. Not many of us "more mature" swingers there. #3 Didn't see much playing, a little in the hot tub, but the massages looked awesome! #4 We left about 12:00 so the party may have warmed up after we left.

NEW ORLANDO LIFESTYLE CLUB! - Playtyme Night Club 7432 Universal Blvd (behind Wet n Wild) - It's 2 blocks off I drive and closed to the public on the weekends... However, Orange county and Orlando are both pretty bad for the lifestyle, much much too conservative!!!, however if you want to get out and meet attractive swingers, it's a nice alternative to the OBT option!!!

why are swingers so flaky? - - We have been in this lifestyle over 20 yrs and you will find out there is all types of people in this lifestyle including flakes. We have had our share of them. I think its just personalities of certain people that are wanting to take the plunge into the dark side but to afraid. Everyone is differant and you will find out the more you stay in this lifestyle the more you will find some very good people and some more flakes. Good Luck and enjoy.

The LDS Church is out to get SWINGERS! - The Las Vegas Swinger Scene is now in Danger - In florida the really successful clubs that have enjoyed some longevity have used this simple formula: 1) A donation is asked for but not required. 2) BYOB only. Soda and food is however available. 3) Condoms are supplied but its allways best to bring your own. 4) the number of people alowed in is limited. one club I know of in brevard has an extra rule: Everybody plays with everybody.

Obama's Roadtrip - -
Fair enough. Then why rely on them for anything that likely wasn't adequately studied?
Likely just does not do it for me...When the numbers are given AND shown how they were gathered, I tend to believe they are fairly accurate.
Let's take your Pepsi/Coke example. There is likely nothing befuddling about your scenario. Just one possibility: Where are the two Florida products bottled? Maybe it's the water.
Both bottled locally, it is chalked up to being a preferance thing. In WI, lived there for a while, it was called pop or soda, unless a VERY specific thing was needed, a Mountain Dew for instance. In the south, it is a Coke no matter what it is. If someone in the south offers a Coke, it could be Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Rite, Sam's Club Soda, etc.
I'm glad you agree with the logic. My Bachelor's is in Social Welfare (Psych Minor). Human nature is only a bitch of a thing when you get out there a few standard deviations. The bulk of us are as predictable as rats.
Believe it or not, I have 2 BA's (econ and int. rel.) with a minor in social work. So I am very aware of social science standards and SOME believe that we're predictable. If you have a smaller sample, we are fairly predictable, especially when the sample is taken from a specific group of people (swingers for instance, better yet, swingers in a specific region), once you get to the larger populations (nationwide for instance), human behavior is not easily quantified. Try being the ONLY conservative in all the social work classes, it was fun! Then again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
I propose that as an economist you are simply looking at things with a limited perspective.
Possibly, but I also have a rare ability to look at it from an outsider's view....
There is simply no question that if a person's basic needs (food and shelter) are met, there is less motivation to risk the consequences of violating societal rules.
I can see the logic of this, however, we are Americans, we always want MORE, we are constantly bombarded with images of MORE, we are constantly told that without MORE we are incomplete, etc. What are the consequences of violating societal rules? Food, shelter, clothing, TV, etc? Really tough there. Look at prisons in Mexico, if your family does not provide, you starve, more than likely. THAT is consequences, it is a deterrant (sp?). IMHO, one of the reasons for our increased crime rates is the lack of public punishment. If every time you turned around, you saw a group of people in black and white stripes mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. on the side of the road in leg chains, it would cut crime considerably. If they did public executions, it would cut crime dramatically. Then again, I am a staunch supporter of heavy penalties for crimes, especially when they are repeat offenders, most of the social scientists are not. They want more rehab and such, which I also support, BUT only for first timers, not for repeat offenders. Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoying our debate... Next!

COME ON DOWN !!!!! - - The previously mentioned posts about jewelry, etc to identify other swingers disappeared when the site crashed, so bringing it up again is a good thing. It would be SOOOOO cool to know for sure if people are in or not! -SG
