Isn't It All About Marketing? - Interesting what people post in profiles and pictures - I find all aspects of the lifestyle interesting. One of the most interesting is what swingers post on these types of sites - who they are, what they are looking for, and their public and private pictures.
Isn't it all about market ourselves? I will not make any judgmental remarks here, because we should not be judgmental in the lifestyle; however, sometimes I wonder what they are trying to communicate.
Because I am a professional website designer I probably look at things differently, also because I am a voyeur I like to see good quality images - ones that show me something about what can be expected in sexual play.
I also wonder if I am reading/seeing more in things that are posted than are really intended - i.e., personality, intelligence, playfulness, etc.

Not in our opinion. Utah has a long standing history with Mormonism. The Mormon church is headquartered here in Utah. Much of this websites membership live in Utah. We are a bit more vocal within the site, because it is frankly the most popular swing site in Utah. Quite a few of the swingers here come from Mormon families and even those who don't, but that have lived in Utah a long time are familiar with Mormon culture. It would be like living in Vatican City and not being a catholic. You would still be aware of and living among a lot of Catholics. The Mormon church, for a time was, and I don't know maybe still is, very anti masturbation. So the subject, once mentioned here in Utah, brings out a few inside jokes and such. Whereas you are from a different part of our great nation, all of this is probably a bit odd. We are not sure if being a single male is stigmatized more or less within the Utah swing community, than it might be in Kansas, but it is a point of aggravation for some within our community. Psychology Research Results - This is a follow up to my earlier post. This is what I found because some showed interest. - I would like to thank everyone who did the research survey for me. I hypothesized that non swingers would view us as more capable of deviant behavior like using drugs and alcohol in large amounts. I was correct. I hypothesized that swingers were more likely to use positive methods to handle relationship conflicts and I was also correct. I also hypothesized that swingers would have high openness to new things and high extroversion. We did find that swingers were more open to new experience but there wasn't enough on the other. Something we found interesting was that non swingers used more aggressive methods to solve relationship conflicts and they had high sexual depression. My teacher is talking about possibly working on this to get it published. I am beyond happy that I can show us in a better and more recent light. Thank you all for your help.
