Vegas: Swingers circle or couples oasis? - Which do I prefer - Okay, Last year we went to Vegas. We were across the street from the Hard Rock. Are we really as judgmental as vanilla people? - - Swingers are very judgemental, maybe more so than the general population. It's not just over weight people that are judged by people in the lifestyle. Single men are discriminated against daily...just because they are male. We seem to be good at grouping like people together be it sex, weight, race. People in the lifestyle sure don't hold back when it comes to discrimination.
Meeting a Monogamous Couple - How many monogamous swingers are there? - Though we do enjoy talking with many and do exchange emails and truly would like to meet others we have pretty much been wiht just one other couple for 2 years now. I am not sure how it happened it just has. WE do think about being with others however. I guessit is more on the part of the F in the other couple. she is afraid of getting something that you cant just wash off. NO WHAT I MEAN.

The definition of cheating - - Interesting discussion. Certainly from a relationship standpoint the classic definition of cheating is being with someone other than your partner physically and/or emotionally. As swingers, however, we often hold ourselves above others and fall back on the lying and/or sneaking around aspect. Personally I feel that being dishonest with the person you hold most dear in this life to be the essence of cheating for me. When information is withheld you take away that person's prerogative to choose whether or not to stay in the relationship with you based on your actions outside of the relationship. There are a million ways people rationalize cheating. I find that a person's attitude towards cheating is a very good litmus test for the depth of their character. Now should we talk about cheating on a test or cheating other people out of their hard earned money? How about cheating on your taxes or at a poker game with friends? At what point DOES cheating become morally reprehensible or should it be "all's fair in love and war" and "every man (or woman) for himself"? Or as SIRNEWBY asserts, is self deception/lying/cheating really the only valid metric? Or did I misunderstand your point, SN? It would be interesting to get feedback from people (I'm sure there are plenty) who've been cheated on.
Are you still interested! - Dynamics amoung swingers - Maybe its just us.. but we certainly find we go through stages. Some (like now) when were very social and meeting lots of people and some when we just hangout with the same good friends and maybe not swing for months. Alot depends whats going on in our lives, how busy we are and of course if there are any people worth meeting.

We actually talked, fantasized and researched it for almost 2 years before taking the leap. One site we used that had great info is Swingers Board. We've loved it ever since. The main thing you need to do is be on the same page about what you want, what your rules and boundaries are and have fun. Go to parties. Browse profiles and contact those who interest you. Set no expectations for dates, we've found it usually doesn't go how you think it will (good and bad). Avoid anyone you get a sense of drama from. One thing we did from the beginning and do still to this day. After every party, club visit or date, we'd talk about it. What we liked, didn't like, etc. Did we mention have FUN!!!!!! Also, don't take rejection personally. It happens to pretty much everyone. Oh yeah, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - We would like to give thanks for everyone including both of our fathers who has ever served for our country and would like to have comemerance for the families of all the soldiers we have unfortunatly lost in this war the last war and for the next one (hopefully not anytime soon but i'm sure will happen again ) we would like to take time out of our busy lives for everyone to have a moment of peace to remember our family, friends, and neibors that are still oversea's and have served in the past. any one that has ever served or is still serving now deserves nothing but the utmost respect for what they have done or are doing now for our saftey. they are all brave men and women and deserve nothing less. thanks to those who support them and we hope everyone has a wonderfull memorial day!!!

For me there have been far more good times.
I think I have done a nice job of being friendly and caring with couples I have met with. There was one time not all that long ago though that I became one of those dreaded single males who doesn't perform up to par. It totally suck for me and the couple. It really wasn't her. It was totally me, but luckily that has been the only time (knock on wood....So long as I have it...LOL) AND there have been far more great times than there have be bad!
Small Towns - - Meh. We say keep it hidden. Ms. Evil and I think it's much more fun that we have a dirty little secret that our neighbors would likely soil their garments if they knew. Most are extremely jealous (a few have even admitted it) when they see us sitting on our porch Sunday mornings in clothing they are encouraged not to wear, sipping our mochas while they drive by on their way to 3 hours of sheer boredom and oppressive indoctrination. It would just be too annoying if EVERYBODY swung (swang? swingded?...need coffee NOW!). I honestly think some of the most insufferable Mormons I know would be just as insufferable if they were swingers as well.
