Northern Utah Party ... Damn It! - We WILL hunt you down ... - SWINGERS??? Oh shit!!! I thought we were just trying an "alternative lifestyle". Hmmmm last time I jumped from a SWING...it hurt like hell!!! But the last time I just slid nice & easy into open arms...it was a good landing!
Who started it? - Who/How/How long? - Before we were in the lifestyle, we went to Hedonism. Nothing happened, but it started an itch that I knew I had to scratch one day if I could convince my wife. Years later at a vanilla party with friends and being drunk, I inadvertently mentioned we went to Hedonism. Our best friends picked up on that and asked if we were swingers. To our astonishment, they told us that they were in the lifestyle and encouraged us to consider it. A few months later, the wife and I went to Sea Mountain in Palm Springs and I told her that I wanted to watch her have sex with another guy. Later that day, she introduced me to a guy and stated that he would be the guy she would have sex with. So, it happened and I loved it. I told my friend who then helped me set up a profile on a swingers website and shortly afterwards, we met another couple from it for our first couples experience. The rest is history. BTW, that initial profile has undergone 1000 revisions as our strict rules were eventually eliminated. Haha!
This lifestyle - What are we really? - Great thought out comments to this posting ThoughtGarden, and we have to agree with you 100%. We love (but don't ever think that would be romantically- LOL), and miss you guys.
A good topic to discuss. As for us, we count ourselves as "Fantasyers" that have things we want to experience and do so with the people that we enjoy (and or love) spending time with. Swingers (hard core) may be at one end on one leg, and Poly may be at the other end and on another leg, but we like being at the "Y" and in the middle, whatever that is labeled. :p

Swing Clubs - - We have never been to a swing club. We usually prefer more intimate settings, but I have wanted to see what it is like. Possibly easier than meeting couples online?

Small Town - Speak Out - We live in a small town in Texas. We have (according to the profiles on several swing sites)
about 35 swinging couples within 20 miles of us.
We are business owners in our town and have somewhat clear face shots on our profile.
None of the other couples have pics at all.
Since putting our face pics up our business has had an increase in the past 2 years .
Our biggest problem is we send emails to those couple that are nearby and never get a response. Heck our next door neighbor has parties about once a month and we are sure they are swingers but we are never invited.
We understand about people losing their jobs in some cases, but heck WE live in the middle of the \"BIBLE BELT in Texas.\"
We have a commissioner that lives about 2 miles away that is trying to shut down the G-RATED strip clubs in our county. (Stripping down to panties and pasties) and he fights stores that have EASYRIDER magazine on their shelves.
The most hilarious thing is he is one of our customers and comes to our annual customer BBQ\'s........lmao
