I was looking at all the stuff people in my friends list posted today on Facebook and in thinking about these friends it became apparent that quite a few here in Utah, that are married have at some point in their lives together, either shared a girlfriend or had a few sexual encounters with other couples they have met and yet they do not affiliate with the swingers scene or really consider themselves swingers. Most of our non religious single friends have casual sex on an ongoing basis. Non monogamy is becoming more and more widely considered normal and acceptable. I know for a fact that a few of our young and super sexy crowd, that used to be more active here online mostly hook up with people that never had a online profile here or anywhere because they do not see why they need one. I am not sure if on a national level this is true but here in Utah with our thriving "I'm not part of the theocracy" counter culture it seems that hooking up in a manner usually associated with swinging happens a lot and does not require associating with the swing scene for it to happen.

Early on, when looking into swinging, I visited another forum. A couple posted a picture of themselves with the caption, "We did it!" Their shirts were off and they were facing away from the camera. A few people posted that they didn't get it. The OP explained that they got upside down pineapples tattooed on their backs so other swingers would know they were in the lifestyle. No one knew what they were talking about. It was sad cause at first they joked that it was a well known sign, but person after person chimed in that they had never heard of it. Some people who had been in the lifestyle over ten years said they'd never heard of it.
After a while they stopped trying to convince people and then stopped responding.
It was pretty sad.
Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - We have been in the lifestyle for a few years and have had the pleasure to play with single men alone and in party situations. Occasionally there is a man who turns things into a "sausage fest". Meaning; we have seen married men pushed from the fray by single men, and the women being overwhelmed by uneven numbers. We have also had the pleasure (and I mean that literally) of playing with very respectful single men. I hate the fact that for some one bad apple... unfortunately that is kinda how it is among human beings. Sadly the majority of our experiances have not been really positive. There is the risk of attachment (been there, not good) We like the even numbers, in a house party situation but if what we are looking for is a threesome... Bring it on! Utah moms (Mormon) TikTok drama - - I don't know who that person is but I do know that swingers will ways throw others under the bus.
