We actually talked, fantasized and researched it for almost 2 years before taking the leap. One site we used that had great info is Swingers Board. We've loved it ever since. The main thing you need to do is be on the same page about what you want, what your rules and boundaries are and have fun. Go to parties. Browse profiles and contact those who interest you. Set no expectations for dates, we've found it usually doesn't go how you think it will (good and bad). Avoid anyone you get a sense of drama from. One thing we did from the beginning and do still to this day. After every party, club visit or date, we'd talk about it. What we liked, didn't like, etc. Did we mention have FUN!!!!!! Mexico! Come with us!!! :) - Trying to put together a group of Swingers to go to Mexico with us! - I'm sure anyone on our friends list got the previous email about our trip to Mexico and wanting to put a trip together in the spring. If you didn't, well that's the gist of it! Our availability would be between May 9th-17th. Probably thinking 4-5 nights (we have a little one at home so that makes it hard for us to leave for too long) but I'm sure any of you that wanted to could stay longer/shorter could do that. We would probably plan one big group excursion (we did sailboating, snorkling, parasailing and shopping all in one excursion for one day for only $135 total for both of us combined and that wasn't even a group rate) to do one of the days and maybe the bar hopping one night? Other than that there are tons of other excursions to do, or lets face it laying around in the pool with the swim up bar sounds pretty amazing too! Soft swing, to us, is a warm comforting security blanket, that eliminates all sorts of issues. Who doesn't want to cuddle up, enveloped in the security of the one they love the most? No swing, same room, no sexual contact with anyone but your spouse even more so. Really, it eliminates a lot of potential anxiety. It is a lot of fun too! There are a lot of seasoned swingers that totally understand where you are. Full swap, group play, and such are absolutely fantastic when everyone involved is ready, attracted, there is chemistry, and everyone wholeheartedly wants to do it. Our experience is that quite often the pushy side of a couple's equation is just as insensitive toward their significant other as they are toward you.

That is why I think single males need to be broken down into two groups. Those that are polite swingers and those that are just fuckers.
Is anybody on this site for fucking real or just a bunch of tease - - It seems like there are basically two kinds of swingers. The kind that take their time, carefully read profiles and weigh whether or not they might be a good match with a given couple or individual before contacting them and eventually meeting, and the kind that seem to be more, "Hey, we're swingers and you're swingers so let's swing (fuck)."
I understand the frustration that some feel when they aren't getting the results they expected or possibly even feel entitled to but as long-timers in the lifestyle we can tell you that like almost everything else in life, in swinging you get out of it what you put into it. Put in the work finding and communicating with people who interest you (and HONESTLY do a self-assessment to see if you are what THEY would likely want) and you will be more successful. DON'T put in the legwork and expect sex with others to just fall into your lap, or hit up couples that aren't in your age-range and have similar physical characteristics and interests and you probably won't be quite as successful.
I think sometimes too many people use the shotgun approach of just sending out a whole bunch of friend requests or generic "We like your pics/profile." emails and are upset when they don't get much of a response. YMMV ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

First Meeting - - After about 5 years of being in the lifestyle that is still a problem for us on knowing when is the right time to take it to the next level. Our first time was unexpected. It was back when then web cam became popular and we played on cam with some friends of ours. One evening we went out to have a few drinks with them. After an evening of drinking we said our good-byes at the bar and drove home. We didn't realize that they followed us home and pulled in the drive right behind us. She asked can she use the bathroom and when she came out of the bathroom she was naked. And we have been swingers ever since. We are still very close friends with them and hang out all the time.
