We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Again, the intent of this post wasn't to obsess over this one bad time. It was to express our feelings and frustration. The advice everyone has shared with us is very helpful. We just want to avoid this kind of situation in the future. Realistically we do realize that we will come across this sort of thing again but atleast now we will be better prepared to deal with it. We will do things differently next time. Hopefully any simiular couples reading this will also choose not to contact us and the ones that are on our level will.
Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - I think the fact that the site hasn't offered lifetime membership specials for so long has really impacted people's ability to connect with newer couples. They come and go too quickly to really follow people, and only the older couples are here to stay, and they often already have their close friends and might not reach out as often. The monthly fee is just too steep for what you get here considering the current level of activity. Those who are lifetime members don't have to worry about losing connections when the don't pay the bill, but they grow tired of connecting with others only to see them disappear from the site for non-payment. I say bring back the lifetime memberships and treat this site like what it is: a social network that benefits from more members and activity.
Swingular not so private anymore - Someone has made swingular known on the radio 🤬 - So… A topic on the radio this morning was “my family does not know ____about me.” Someone got on and decided to say that her and her husband are swingers and her family did not know. If taken literally, the bible has many examples where rape, genocide, incest, and much more are excusable under certain conditions.

It's a fine line, being discreet and wanting to share bad experiences. I think you hit the nail on the head with your 'share with friends' comment.
I have a few couples that I spend time with who 'look out for me'. They know that I see single guys and are pretty frank with me when they have a bad experience.
