Peta....are you a fan? - Their "State of the Union" message. - "If you do not wish to read or write in topics outside of the realm of swinging, then you shouldn't adventure in those areas. Just my two cents." Could not agree more, you will never see me writing in one of the "poke your fellow swinger's in the eye posts" And just for the record "Mr. TR" I've read some of your "rants" and probably agree 97.2 of everything you say "Politically". But my thinking is there's about 16 million places to "Get Political" on the Web..... Why choose a group which accounts for about 2-5 percent of the U.S. population (including YOU) to pick a fight? Why post in a "little pond" of a bunch of swingers?..

Swingers in a vanilla bar... - - IF they say no, say neither have I, but have heard good things. If they say yes, explain how much you enjoy it because of _______________. Saying hello and how are you doing tonight opens the door to discussion, however, if the goal is to ascertain lifestyle participation or not, it won't accomplish that.

How to get Girl on GIRL...solo??? - trying to find that elusive, no drama, chick - I'll chime-in reiterating what other have said. First, the reason these single females disappear, never meeting you is because they are horny guys playing online games and looking at pictures to get-off. Second, we agree with Thoughtgarden 100%. EVERY FMF we've had came from the most unexpected place when we weren't even looking at the moment. These are women we met at non-swinger parties, night clubs, etc. I think this is because for the most part, unlike single guys, single women are not actively pursuing threesomes and moresomes. Single women are not creating the number of profiles on swingers sites like single men. If they happen, great. If they don't, that's okay too. It's now that they aren't interested, they're just not out there pursuing it on a daily basis. A couple of suggestions: 1) Look everywhere. Remember when you used to go out to clubs by yourself or with a friend when you were single and you'd meet someone? Same thing, except now you're doing it as a couple. Instead of boy picking-up girl, or girl picking-up guy, it's now couple picking-up girl. You are BOTH dating her, not just one of you. 2) Couples is a good place to start, even if you are not interested in full swap right now. Going to the meet and greets and getting to know people and them getting to know you helps. You may find a couple that is okay with playing solo and would love to fulfill your fantasy with wifey playing with you two. But, if you don't get out there and get known to people you'll never find them. Good luck! And keep trying. We were in the lifestyle as a full swap couple for quite a while before our first FMF, and it literally came-out of thin air when we were least expecting it.

Any Sci-Fi lovers here? - What\'s to describe? Either you like a good sci fi TV series or movie or you don\'t. - Okay, We are going to add our names to the Geek Squad fo Sci Fi Lovin Swingers here on Swingular! (applause please) I (mR.) am a huge Star Trek fan, and NO, there will not be any debate as to the quality of the Captains of the Enterprise! Every Trek fan worth his salt KNOWS that JAMES KIRK is the space pimp who started it all! I mean come on!?!? A green chick, a blue chick, a BLACK chick (that was a network television first!) and every other kind of chick there was. If it was a space chick, he's fucked it people. You cant but that kind of love anywhere! Now I love Picard, Janeway, Riker (of Titan fame now if you are a reader), Sisko, and yes, even Captain Archer, for whom the federation adopted many new rules because he screwed so many things up, is cool with me. I was a huge DS9 fan also, well..the last 3 years anyway when Worf came aboard. I am also a huge Star Wars fan. In fact, I am the OFFICIAL star wars fan. If there is printed material on Star Wars, I own it. For those of you who read, the NJO (new jedi order) was fantastic! And everything before it as well. Just finished the three book Dark Nest trilogy and man am I impatient for more! We both loved X-Files. Nuff said right? There were times that I wanted to bitch slap Scully for being a doubting thomas though. Even after the movie she would say, "I dont believe it." Stupid bitch. LoL. We love SURFACE, STAR GATE SG-1, Atlantis, and my absolute fav right now has got to be GALACTICA!!! Talk about a completely perfect remake of a cult classic with a few twists on the characters! Good television. Since I am gone from home so much, I dont get to watch a lot of cable, but you can bet that when I do make a date with the TIVO I am GLUED to these shows, and nothing, short of my wifes sexy ass smile and devilish little "come and get it" grin, can make me press pause! Luvbugs! (mR.) ;)

Seems Pointless - Seems Pointless - “Because it’s a swinger site” - doesn’t explain the WHY the site would have any user (single male, or otherwise), be able to view users that they could not contact. Wouldn’t it make more sense to have your profile NOT pop up on searches from singles males or any other demographic that does not interest you? “not designed for single males” As you said earlier, it’s a swinger site…. It can be assumed that is “designed” for all types of swingers… couples, single males, single females, all types. The category’s are pretty clear in its stated format. I do agree however that many seemingly just troll.

Wendover questions - - Anyone know how to find a place for happy ending massages? Any couples going in the end of march? Are there any swingers clubs? What is there to do?

Having a hard time meeting people - - Wow its getting heated now !!!!!!!!!!!!! Cant we all just get naked ???? To much drama going around really a turn off when everyone starts bashing each other . I think everyone has there own opinion and you know opinions are like assholes everyones got one . But why bash each other ???? Swingers are supposed to be more laid back and non judgemnetal at least I thought ........ Just sayin Badboy8p

would you? - if you found this on your car in the morning? - Well, since we don't take the bus, probably would push it off, since it's novelty is old. The people that would find it amusing would be either A- immature, or B- Swingers. You'd run across a lot of A's but the B's are much more rare. Guess I'd have to push it off and go to work..

Obama's Roadtrip - -
Fair enough. Then why rely on them for anything that likely wasn't adequately studied?
Likely just does not do it for me...When the numbers are given AND shown how they were gathered, I tend to believe they are fairly accurate.
Let's take your Pepsi/Coke example. There is likely nothing befuddling about your scenario. Just one possibility: Where are the two Florida products bottled? Maybe it's the water.
Both bottled locally, it is chalked up to being a preferance thing. In WI, lived there for a while, it was called pop or soda, unless a VERY specific thing was needed, a Mountain Dew for instance. In the south, it is a Coke no matter what it is. If someone in the south offers a Coke, it could be Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Rite, Sam's Club Soda, etc.
I'm glad you agree with the logic. My Bachelor's is in Social Welfare (Psych Minor). Human nature is only a bitch of a thing when you get out there a few standard deviations. The bulk of us are as predictable as rats.
Believe it or not, I have 2 BA's (econ and int. rel.) with a minor in social work. So I am very aware of social science standards and SOME believe that we're predictable. If you have a smaller sample, we are fairly predictable, especially when the sample is taken from a specific group of people (swingers for instance, better yet, swingers in a specific region), once you get to the larger populations (nationwide for instance), human behavior is not easily quantified. Try being the ONLY conservative in all the social work classes, it was fun! Then again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
I propose that as an economist you are simply looking at things with a limited perspective.
Possibly, but I also have a rare ability to look at it from an outsider's view....
There is simply no question that if a person's basic needs (food and shelter) are met, there is less motivation to risk the consequences of violating societal rules.
I can see the logic of this, however, we are Americans, we always want MORE, we are constantly bombarded with images of MORE, we are constantly told that without MORE we are incomplete, etc. What are the consequences of violating societal rules? Food, shelter, clothing, TV, etc? Really tough there. Look at prisons in Mexico, if your family does not provide, you starve, more than likely. THAT is consequences, it is a deterrant (sp?). IMHO, one of the reasons for our increased crime rates is the lack of public punishment. If every time you turned around, you saw a group of people in black and white stripes mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. on the side of the road in leg chains, it would cut crime considerably. If they did public executions, it would cut crime dramatically. Then again, I am a staunch supporter of heavy penalties for crimes, especially when they are repeat offenders, most of the social scientists are not. They want more rehab and such, which I also support, BUT only for first timers, not for repeat offenders. Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoying our debate... Next!

We Need Our Members Opinions!! - Please read and reply.... - 1.What was the determining factor to get you to buy a membership? Definately the cost, it was a bargain fo rwhat was being offered. 2.What features were a big part of your decision? The fact that it is dedicated (mostly) to Swingers. 3.Are there features you didn't know about until you discovered them later? Not really, I had a pretty good idea as to what was on the site because the person that recommend it gave me a pretty comprehensive tour. 4.What do you think could have helped you make a quicker decision? Nothing.. 5.Do you have any ideas that could help entice more members to purchase a membership? Maybe restrict full search capabilities to only members. 6.If you haven't made a purchase yet, why not N/A
