PurfectLV party this weekend - - We know in some circles it is considered bad form to reply to your own post, but we thought an update on PurrfectLV would be useful for some. We went to the party last Friday night and we really enjoyed it.
The venue at the top of the Mandalay Bay is fantastic. The swinger group has a separate room with a bar and with music at a low volume so conversation is easy. You can also go mingle in the main club/bar if you want to dance. There is also a great outdoor patio/balcony with a view of the Strip.
The crowd (at least those we talked to) were mostly out of towners - for example, there was a whole party from Alaska who had only arrived in Vegas that night. There did also seem to be some regulars. Everyone seemed very easygoing and friendly - like most swingers.
You can buy the admission ticket online before hand (we did) - it is more expensive to pay at the door. Online cost was $40 (plus a fee) for a couple with no additional charge for our third (a single female). Adding a single guy would ramp this up significantly. We are not sure how this compares to the regular admission to the club but it seemed reasonable given the private room. Bar prices were a bit steep by SLC standards - $14 for a glass of wine.
Iman is a gracious and efficient hostess. She does this every week and has obviously streamlined the process. One really nice touch is that PurrfectLV guests don't have to stand in the regular line and are given a wristband. This gets you into the private room and means that you can also recognize other swingers even in the main bar.
The main party runs from 10.30pm. At 1.30pm many people moved on to the after party which is in a hotel suite. This party is effectively a private house party and is BYOB. We didn't go so can't comment but it is definitely a full swing party. Iman circulates at the main party and distributes a second wristband for those interested. There is an additional contribution for this ($20/couple, single female again free).

Oh come on now.... you all know I was just kidding... and I take it back, (especially since that bolt of lightning split the tree out front). Guess now I need to be concerned about someone burning the male/female symbols in my front yard?
On a more serious note, and Dr. Phil could never explain this.... Some of the most Christian like people we have met have been in lifestyles. We wont try to explain why, we really dont know ourselves... but we believe the comments so far in this forum bare it out. We dont feel the hostility here.

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - we are looking for friends ,,
the friends i have now,,

To give you an example our friend Glen got him a new girlfriend
she is spanish, now our friends are people of all colors different
religons, there polish italian, irish, african american, etc..etc..
But Glens new girlfriend is new to the crowd. She been dating him for about 4 months.
Now we don't swing with any of these people, the problem we have is this ,in our
group of friends and Glen is in agreement with this , that we all have to watch what we
say now if we say anything that has to do with spanish people, as in joking,cutin' up,
whatever.she will get mad. If you can't sit around and joke and cut up without anyone getting offended then your not friends. We have tried to discuss this with her, to no aveil...
This is what we are looking for, friends that can get along... without all the other
bullshit that goes on in the rest of the world..

Bi - - Well, Utah does has one of the highest if not the highest population of gays per capita. So we know there are a lot of bi-men here. But this is still a very conservative state and they like to keep things under wraps. We've found in most religious societies there are large groups who push away or break away from what is socially acceptable in that area. In rural Utah there are some towns that are 100% Mormon, yet in Salt Lake City the numbers are less. I thinks its 65% non Mormon to 35% Mormon. Our profile name is bi-couple, but I (male) am not attracted to men, but to the Transgender. I am more attracted to Feminine energy that the Transgender carries not the Masculine energy of men. We believe that there are three sexes, male, female, transgender. Yes that means that a person could be Tri-sexual. We are a very,very open couple and consider ourselves to be more Polyamorous, than swingers. But we respect all sexualities and lifestyle choices.

Any advice? - Recent birthday brings changes..... - So...having just recently turned 93 years of age, I have a few questions.
1. I enjoy the meet and greets but thinking it is going to be more and more difficult to find a "parking" spot for my walker when I'm out "break" dancing.
2. Are swingers really kind enough to help me up off the dance floor after I "break" something, and get tired of "peeking up skirts?"
3. What are the chances of a pretty girl actually getting close enough to me to allow such a peek?
And, finally...
4. Is there ANY real chance I'm still gonna get any "action" here? I have lots of popcycle sticks and rubber bands..so that isn't an issue. I have a hot 42 year old wife to reward anyone that helps....
Ahhh..so many concerns...and questions. Maybe it's just time to "hang up the spats" and stick with the nurses in the ER for the extra curricular stuff....
