If you accept a friend request... - Is sex required? - I think you're running into the age old conundrum in swinging that people already have plenty of friends and what they're looking for here are friends with benefits...or at very least friends with the possibility of more should the stars align perfectly. Now if you don't ever intend for that to happen and are rigid in your stated preferences and don't believe in the old adage, "Never say never." then you shouldn't change your profile. There are, sadly, all too many profiles that don't cleariy spell things out and people feel deceived when ultimately they discover that you're just 'using' them for friendship. LOL If, however, you at some point in time decide that it wouldn't kill you to see your wife getting banged while you do the same to some other guy's wife maybe a rewrite is in order. If that will NEVER happen don't feel bad. You aren't alone. People who USED to be swingers and for whatever reason stopped often find they very much miss the excitement of hanging around with people who are sexy, fun loving and a little bit wild. Unfortunately they often find the same problem. People have plenty of friends they CAN'T fuck and don't see much point in using Swingular as a vehicle for find more. But don't despair, there are a few people out there who actually ARE looking for friendship first and sex, "If it happens."...or at least that's what a few say in their profile. We're actually one of those couples. We've told people many times that they don't have to fuck us to be our friends. And we mean it. So yeah, we're out there. We might be as rare as the elusive unicorn but we're out there. Good luck! ps- You could also consider becoming 'soft swap'. There are more than a few couples who only do that and have a great time without 'going all the way'. Just a thought.

Amazing Elite Halloween Party - - Most swingers are respectful. You are certainly in the right crowd. CB&KB

The unbearable burden of proof. - Congratulations! You have an opinion. Why does everybody else have to agree with it? - Well, this certainly seems like a 'diverted extension' to me. But, since you did ask (and publicly), here goes: People often tell others what they've done, to demonstrate that they have a certain amount of experience doing it. Simple enough. And, in remarkable contrast to your opinion, it's not necessarily to sound intelligent or to give credence to an outrageous postulations. Sometimes they actually know what they're talking about. Unfortunately, you can't assume that just because someone talks about their experience, they really don't know anything. As to your comment concerning years of experience...(and you immediately zero in on computers...hmmm...wonder what that's about?) 1. As T4REAL capably put it, the kid from college has 'book smarts', but often lacks the real-world experience to make that training useful. Give me the vet every time - and if you listen, you'll find many who will echo that. Probably a majority. Why? Because the vet's not only seen more real problems, but they've been involved in more real answers. I recall a quote along the lines of "The biggest fault of youth is inexperience". While the young grad *cannot* have the benefit of experience the vet does, it *is* possible the vet can have the experience and the (recent) academic exposure, as well. 2. My mom - an educator herself, with degrees in all sorts of stuff, told me once, "I went to college to learn what I didn't know". (Little play on words, there - she was a languistics teacher). What she meant was that, beyond high school is another type of learning - broad and still detailed. You really begin to realize how little you actually know about things when you're exposed to further education. You gain an advanced perspective, which in turn makes you realize you know diddly, in the grand scheme of things. (Happy Mother's Day, Mom) 3. "Any more than 5 years of doing something allows a person sufficient enough time to become calcified into a single-mindedness that allows the world to pass you by anonymously." Nice pile of words...but, sure - it does 'allow...sufficient time' - but, again, it doesn't guarantee anything. If a person does anything for *any* length of time, and doesn't work to keep current, they will fall behind what is current. But you have little way of knowing how current people are, just based on some post on an Internet swingers site. Five years of doing something doesn't automatically mean someone's fallen behind, either. And the 62.5% of all statistics you cite? Well, doesn't that mean 37.5% are completely legit? (No matter the fictitious percentage *you* make your point with, it's complement will always oppose you). Again, trouble here is you have no way of knowing whether a given citation is accurate or not - but you can't just assume they're all wrong. Again, as in our recent discussion elsewhere - I put my opinion out there, and I have no problem letting others read and decide for themselves. Some people (*ahem*) seem so interested in contradicting others, they get far, far away from the matter at hand. You may find it interesting to know, I'm not really formally educated much beyond high school and military technical training; I hold no degrees, and very few certifications, proper. What I know about PC's I've learned almost entirely on my own. To be honest, I'd prefer a guy who learned because he really had passion enough to learn on his own. This is one reason I have so many machines at home...it's a hobby, but it's also a huge test bed; a training apparatus. And I've been training for over 25 years (sorry, I'm sure you hate me saying that). On the other hand, with no more education and certificates than I have, I did actually run a reasonably successful business for a while. I've managed to support my family at a level *well* beyond the means you'd expect from my education alone. So, it's possible that I do know what I'm talking about, although I don't expect you'll ever acknowledge that. It's OK, I don't really require your acknowledgement. I do realize I'm making a few assumptions here myself. While this isn't necessarily about me, it damn sure smacks of it; not at all subtle of you. Still, I've tried to indulge you, without attacking you or being insulting. I hope you learn what there is to know from the responses to your post. And T4real - excellent points!

KSL swing story - - For those of you guys out of town. This is the transcript from the KSL website. "Everyone has shared their partners with everyone else in the room." "You're in happy valley and you think nothing like that could happen." An Eyewitness News Investigation takes us inside a delicate subject few people like to talk about -- infidelity, couples cheating, in secret, in the open, and joining a movement that appears to be gaining momentum. We heard persistent rumors that spouse-swapping and adultery is commonplace in certain suburban neighborhoods. We discovered those rumors were based on at least some truth. People told us they were being recruited -- marriage counselors say they are seeing more if it. There aren't statistics or easy answers, but it's clear the effects can be devastating. Love, commitment, holy matrimony. In Utah, where marriage vows and family values run deep. Woman: "They said it was more exciting when their spouse was involved." This story will open eyes to something many would like to keep secret. "It was taboo within their religious background." "I thought, this can't be happening here. This is Utah." Sometimes it's kept very quiet, among neighbors and friends. Other times, it's out in the open. Studies show infidelity is to blame for more than half of divorces in Utah. What we found surprised even experts. We knocked on doors, attended a party. We heard stories by phone, by email, but nothing could match what we heard in a pocket of Draper. "Something was wrong with every other neighbor in that neighborhood." Her husband's indiscretions shattered their marriage. "Intensely, intensely painful. It's the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life." The divorce final, he remarried one of their neighbors within a week. It seems adultery ran rampant. Up the block it was consensual with other married neighbors cheating together. People told us they moved to get away from it and stayed inside to avoid it. Across town one woman told us she just wanted to run from it: "Everyone in the room had shared their partners with everyone else in the room. These people had been married five, 10, 20 years." She and her husband were invited to a barbeque with couples from Draper, Provo, Sandy and Salt Lake. A doctor made a move. "He's hitting on me, like he's single, and his wife's sitting right there. I think, there's another motive to this party and it's not just to hang out and meet new people." They got out of there. While there's no data, experts say it's proof of a trend. Vicky Burgess/Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist: "I think, because sexual relations and sex itself is more open, I think we're seeing more of it." We found there are several parties where couples can meet. Randy Chatelain, Ph.D./ Marriage and Family Therapist: "I believe this kind of behavior is going to catch up with a couple, because where does it stop? What more do you have to involve to create the high?" Hundreds of couples pack a popular Sandy nightclub. "A lot of people nowadays have fantasies and they want to fulfill them with their significant other. This is the best way to do that." This man, who asked not to be identified, built a business, helping couples meet at parties. His website suggests spouses can be in love and still enjoy sex with others. "They figure, 'I would much rather do it with the person I love than have them do it behind my back.'" From the looks of it, he's pretty successful. He has 4,000 members living in Utah. How fast is it growing? Four years ago there were 150 members. How common is it? Posing as a married woman, we signed up on a website aimed at so-called "swingers." In six days, 70 married men, most from Utah, ask to start a fling.

Why do couples or woman here because there older think because I - -
So you guys want a relationship basically. No wonder the couples I played with told me people on this site are close minded . Want your feet kissed. I'm and girl showing off her feet 70's and 80's was an era of drugs and good music . I just listened to music you must have done both
I personally have not met even one close minded person until I saw the reply quoted above. I do not believe the people (as a majority) on this site want a monogamous relationship or even a poly version of that. Swinging is not about Bar or party type hookups which is what you seem all about. No we do not want our feet kissed. Today is MUCH more about drugs than the 70's or 80's could ever hope to be. However, the drugs back then were pretty safe compared to today. Also, it sounds like you have played with party hookup people not swingers if that is your take away. Those people are perfectly fine. They're just about the sex and rocking each others worlds. You can get that here and in other places to.

Can bieng Mormon (LDS) and a Swinger co-exist? - - Every time I see this topic somewhere I wait until there are a number of replys and then put my $ 1.28.7 ( dollar three eighty seven ) into the pot. Religion is a means to control populations. Moral and ethics are dictated by religion and or organized religion first and then government... But lest we forget that organized religion was the government in the early days of the church.. Monogamy is the product of religion and government to make sure of heritage and property rights. BTW this is not simply a Christian practice but many religions do exactly the same thing.. Now, as for the Bible. The Bible is a collection of books and stories that were handed down by word of mouth and then laid down in writing in Sanskrit, and ancient Hebrew and then to a more modern form of Hebrew as well a Ancient Greek.. then a more modern version of Greek. These text were translated by the "Holy" Roman Church and transcribed for humanity and the masses control by monks under papal control. many of the Cannons of the Roman Catholic Church have been more or less adopted by the secular or temporal law, the law of the government. Some things need to be understood about the Bible. IT was written by men translated from dead languages or languages that had changed and it is entirely possible that it was manipulated for the purposes of the Church... So where does that put us.... We believe what we want to, what we have been programmed to or we modify that programming to allow for us to do what we feel we have a right to do. What we believe will allow us to still live a good life even if it is against the mores and ethics of the church and or the temporal laws. It kind of like going 70 in a 65 MPH zone... We feel we have a right, besides we'll probably not get caught and maybe we just want to see if we will get caught.. Doing things against ones religion is like that to some extent... Maybe God is watching Mary down the street. Maybe I don't believe that my church is right. Maybe heaven and hell are a fabrication of religion to keep us in line... Maybe God was invented by man to explain why things are what they are and why things happen the way they do... Do we have to reconcile our lives to religious "BELIEFS" or do we live our lives the best way we know. Harm no one if possible. Live life to the fullest, it's too short to play it too safe. Oh and before I forget, someone stated that they love their creator....Isn't that kind of like swinging.... He/She is not our mate. Oh and how about the old testament... All the wives of Solomon and David. How about Isaac... His wife gave him her hand maden and besides if you look at the text... he already had several concubines as did many other biblical figures.... I think maybe we could call them all swingers.....So beat this subject to the ground and in the end it's all up to what you WANT to BELIEVE.

New Forum Rules - No Censorship, No Moderation, Just a Few Rules -

Rob, The Don

Very good move. Most popular public forums on the web have moderators that keep it above the belt. I am a "levels of force" kinda person. I usually keep it in the "smack talk" region until someone pulls out the big guns and says something that totally insults me, my service to the country, my way of life etc. Then I think it's fair to defend myself. I was never one to tolerate bullies Forum moderation is a good think as long as you are not dinged on everything you say. If done in moderation itself, I think it's key in a happy community. After all, not all of us will agree all of the time. Any good community has a police system in place. Some of us do not hold themselves to a moral believe system (dogma). What it "proper etiquette" to some, may not be to others. We are a culturally & sexually diverse, multi-faceted, large gamut of unique individuals. Each of us even differ from our spouses/significant others (if that applies). Can you you say you never argue with your spouse? Can you say you have never said anything brash to anyone? Were you apologetic to those you did not like? I think most reasonable individuals would say yes to most of those and no to the last one. What is more likely, is that they chose to avoid contact with that person. Everyone here has a choice to involve themselves in the conversations that happen here. For instance, if you were to post in a "GAY MARRIAGE" thread and post your opinion as to why an adult of clear mind and total consent, should not be allowed to enter into legal marriage with another adult of any sex, they so chose because of your own personal moral system. You are then adamant about holding to you view no matter how many time you are told that there is a seperation of church and state and that the "sanctity of marriage, between a man and a woman" is that of religious code and does not apply to the legal system, as it is unconstitutional. Yet you still wish to force your law on the rest of society because your upbringing told you that homosexuality is wrong and that marriage is not meant for gays. If this applies to you, then you are not reasonable and the only way I wish to deal with unreasonable people is to tell them to fuck off. I am saying you don't have the right to avoid homosexual marriage for youself? NO! I am saying you don't have the right to choose for others. I guess what I am saying is that many of you don't want to hear anyone say anything that differs from your own little world, yet you are swingers. Many of you think one -way and don't want to hear something that turns your belief system on it's head. If you can not respect or tolerate diversity I have no respect for you. I will not respect your beliefs, rights or opinions if you will not afford everyone else the same. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SEW. I vow, from hence forth, to do my best to be civil to everyone here. I expect the same from all of you. I can play nice with you, if you play nice with me. Remember, if you disrespect me, I will definetly return the courtesy :-) Thanks Rob. Thank you for proving that forum moderation can be a good thing.

STD Testing - How often are you tested? - Just the totally Mormon ones. Love to see the looks on their faces when we describe what we like to do with other swingers. [em]Emo_84[/em]

Couples Oasis in Vegas - - Have been.. wasn't impressed. Felt like the kind of place you might get herpes just by sitting on a chair. Hosts were very friendly, crowd was older ... didn't see any couples there we would have rated over a "4 / 10". Stayed about 30 minutes and left. Honestly, swingers clubs in vegas are not good... the tourist atmosphere lends itself to people just trying to make money... they don't have to create a quality product to get people to pay big bucks. Save your moeny. When talking about vegas clubs, you'll find that most people over 60 speak fairly positively about them... most people under 40 won't go anywhere near them.... That should tell you something.

Do you 'advertise' your lifestyle desires in public? - - Try dropping the word lifestyle into a sentance,or ask if you have meet before and use a club name everyone knows is a swingers club. In Dallas the key word would be San sousi.
