Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. It all comes down to a matter of respect and a lot of swingers, sadly, are just too concerned about their own desires and agenda and think they can persuade you to go beyond your rules and limits once you see how amazingly hot they are and realize how utterly lucky you are to be able to be with them at all. Why are people not answering? - - I agree totally. The most aggravating are those who send an email expressing interest, you reply courteously and never hear from them again. Might as well reply to their email with " Take a long walk on a short pier", or "Kiss my ass" for all the good it does. And those who do it know who they are...even more disgusting are those who do answer emails, schedule a meet and then disappear, never to be seen or heard from again....or they do schedule a meeting and never show up....(how many cups of coffee is a realistic amount of time to wait? ) then you realize you have been "had again". I think is a forced meme with more fuzz than action. But is relatively new, 4 yrs at most. You haven't missed anything. We would not approach anyone using an upside down pineapple because there are plenty of safer, foolproof ways to meet playbuddies. Also, what if I'm wearing a pineapple upside down at the mall and a single male approaches us about it? My pineapple will for sure go up his ass and then I'll lose it.
