Let's see, you just said that people confess to their bisbop. How is that any different from what I said? I remember being in college and the bisbop called me in, supposedly a girl I had messed around with concessed to her bishop, that bisbop made her tell him my name, and he turned around and told my bisbop. Are you still interested! - Dynamics amoung swingers - Two comments I am going to try to keep short.
First.. there are the couples we see somewhat regularly, we enjoy the more intimate moments with them, but we need to take a break every so often and just be friends. We are glad they understand that. When we are ready to get back into the bedsheets with them, its much more meaningful and fun. We respect them when they feel the need to become vertical friends for a while and not horizontal. So its not always a loss of interest, just a temporary change of scenery or personal events in our life... (Then again, some people do have issues that change their attitude towards lifestyles altogether.. and you have to respect their needs when they become just vanilla).
Second. Old topic, but similar in nature to this string.
Whatever happened to plain old honesty? Its a frustrating experiences to chat over a period of time, feel a friendship is developing, finally meet and spend a great eveing together... talk about getting together again soon only to be continually stood up or given a rash of excuses. I think everyone understands that finding a good match with another couple comes with several disappointments. Its so much easier to accept when you are told straight out that its not going to work out, rather than being lead on and on with the premise that there is something developing. Common courtesy goes along way and commands respect. Even after a relationship that may have developed for extended periods of time, why not be truthful and let the other party know when the interest is dying or gone? Or when its just a social relationship you are comfortable with.. why not be honest? There are some great friendships that can be made here that dont require sex.
It happens to all of us.. think about how you want to be treated when you are on the recieving end.

Other activities? - Do you only meet swingers for sex? - Yes we agree with Dar Dorn we have met people to swim at our place, BBQ, get dinner, a movie, and just stroll around the Mall looking for deals. Favorite bars in utah - - Yes, I read the article. Our experience (getting close to 30 years in the swinging trenches) has shown that the authorities almost invariably use other (easier to prosecute) issues to shut down naughty things like swinging parties. Recently in Texas they're trying to use zoning ordinances and disturbing the peace and, believe it or not, parking ordinances. Quite often it's alcohol related. Not too many years ago with a local, fairly prominent swinger who held frequent parties in his upscale neighborhood they nailed him for providing alcohol to minors (apparently one girl at one of his parties was not yet 21).
And I would ague that Las Vegas is anything but tolerant for swingers parties or really anything related to sex. They love to sell the idea of sex but when the rubber meets the road they are as intolerant as anywhere we've been. I don't remember the last hotel takeover we attended in Vegas where a topless pool wasn't promised and then shut down by the local authorities. Of course the big money hotels have absolutely no problem providing topless pools...if they can charge a hefty premium to do so. Vegas is all sizzle and no steak (in the vernacular of my grandfather).
INCEST - Is it sooooooo wrong? - First of all I\'m not going to be the one running and hiding if I run into someone in my family.. I\'m not a native NCarolinian either... This is one of the Hot beds of swinging right now with some 15 clubs in the state and more opening all the time. As for incest.. that\'s been one of the bible belt\'s most prolific sports. Drunks, drugs and incest... None of which is condoned in the right winged religious groups.. These are groups where it is bad to drink dance lay with your brother if you\'re a man but as you look at the reality.... Ministers getting their perrisheners pregnant, having sex with their yungins, drinking till you cain\'t stand up and or usin drugs to keep the smell of the hogs outchur nose. We\'ve got ABC here ... Alcohol Beverage Control in NC.. Which controls what you can buy how much you pay but doesn\'t address drunks buying liquor.
Incest is the least of anyones worries here... Beard, I know of sisters and brothers in the lifestyle... they don\'t play with each other but belong to the same club. Sisters who play with each others husbands...Not sure how close that is and if\'n ya evha waches the Jayree Springa show yo\'ll see plenty of that stuff, incest, girl doing brother and sister doing sister and mother doing daughter etc.. and they aren\'t even swingers.... So have fun with the concept not with the deed... It\'s not going to change and nothing we or anyone can do about it... So I just have to laugh and keep my eyes open and check ID\'s.
Life\'s too short to worry too much about any single thing.. If you were given a month to live what would you worry about for that month??? I would hope nothing and be too busy just living.
