How come in all of Utah there are no swingers with the handles like SEAMONKYS4SEX or SESSYCMONKY4U? Back in the 60s and 70s you could not open a Drag Cartoons magazine or Boys Life or even a comic book with out an advertisement for Sea Monkeys as pets. For those of you that are not from Utah Sea Monkeys are actually Brine Shrimp, taken from the Salt Lake, magically put into stasis through some sort of dehydration process. You could buy a package through the mail and put them in a fish bowl, add water and plenty of salt and have sea monkeys for pets. There were more sea monkeys shipped out of Utah then anything else save missionaries in the 60s and 70s. My brother and I sent away for some to be shipped to us in Arizona in about 1962 about the time "Meet the Beatles" came out. What a fucking fraud! They did come back to life but they sure did not look at all like monkeys. Those damned x-ray glasses didn't work either.
So if you go to the Great Salt Lake make sure you wash off the brine shrimp when you get out. Sea Monkeys are just another Utah fraud like Mark Hoffman's forgeries, Paul H. Dun baseball cards or husbands with perpetual hall passes in the booty call section.

Which Motorcycle Survey? - In the market and want your opinion... - Oh, I have strong thoughts on this subject folks. And I am really doing my homework and shopping very thoroughly. I'm taking my time because I won't be buying until Feb/Mar at the earliest. And I've been watching the Can-Am develop over the past 3 years now. One of our nearby dealers carries them alongside Big Dog Choppers and Suzuki. Interesting line-up.
It's not that what others think will make my decision or unduely influence it, but I am interested in reading others' opinions and thoughts to compare to my own. And I'm checking with a few different demographic groups. Let's face it: swingers tend to march to the beat of their own drum more than most folks! LOL
I brought up the "cool factor" and image stuff in the context of what our own perceptions are of bike culture. I mentioned that we are cruiser types, not crotch-rocket people. I wear western style riding boots and a black leather jacket. But my jacket has armor inserts, all the modern upgrades, and even reflective piping on a traditional cruiser jacket frame. I wear a Bell military-style open face helmet and goggles. My wife rides a blacked out (Raven) 2011 Star Stryker. So we sort of blend the old w/the new a bit. I guess I'm hesitant about the style change.

Monogamy in marriage - An interesting article on the subject - I think the number one reason that a marriage goes off track is the lack of communication. It could show up in fights over money, one or the other cheating because their needs are not taken care of in the marriage, or just about any of the rocks that so many couples run into along the path of married life. One reason I think that swingers tend to be happier and more secure is because without good, open communication swinging can be a minefield. Most that stay in the lifestyle for any amount of time learn to communicate better with each other than many others that do not have the experience of sharing. This summer we'll have been married 35 years so I guess it works :-)
