This issue is easily remedied. You can give out your email address. We have two. One for strangers and spam, the other for friends and family. We use one to register for shit and communicate with strangers and potential friends. The other is given the potential friends and strangers. As long as you are not giving out personal information on the false front email, you have not worries. There is no risk.
There is no arguing, you are as safe as your browsing habits. You do stupid shit like post personal shit that you don't want to be know, you can expect to be revealed. There is always a risk of compromising your indentity, when you allow it to be on the internet. So, If you don't want shit known, don't post it.
As for the original subject. It all has to do with anonimity. They paid money for features on this site. One was email to correspond with other swingers on this site. Clicking an icon to open swingular is no different than clicking your Outlook icon. So, I see no issue with it. Do what makes the other person comfortable. If they don't want you to have their email... They don't want you to. People are not going to change because someone has an issue with how they interact. Note: Best if viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7STD testing and physicians - who and where - The Utah Aids Foundation in Sugarhouse does walk in testing Mondays and Thursdays. They test for HIV (rapid results, you get them before you leave the clinic), and chlamydia and gonorrhea for free. The chlamydia/gonorrhea are just urine for the free tests, and since they are localized infections, paying for the self collect oral/anal tests are worth it as well ($25/each), as people frequently have those without realizing and while testing clean with their urine tests. My one complaint with there is that they take a while to get results (about a week) and I felt a little talked down to when they pull you into a room to talk about safe sex and using condoms; however, that is a small price to pay for the service you are getting.
While, as swingers, those are the two big ones to worry about, it is worth also going to your family physician to get tested for a full panel every few months (I do every 6/8 months for the full panel), since they aren't as common but can still affect people.
If you need something quickly and want to avoid paying too much, the best experience I have had is actually at the Salt Lake County Health Department near downtown (http://slco.org/health/std-clinic/testing-treatment/). They charge per test, and they are the least judgmental and most sex-positive place I've found. The only downside is that they don't take insurance, so it doesn't count against your deductible, and getting an appointment can be hard, but they do take walk ins.

Naked beach - Stansbury island - As spring gets a little closer come out to the beach and work on your tan. It's a ghost town now but as temps get about 70 it'll get busier. There are all types of people there. Dudes, LGBTQ, couples, nudists (like us), swingers. The further away from the sagebrush you go the less bugs just be careful it can get muddy too. People go all the time we like to go Sunday afternoons. It's not a legal nude area so be careful and respectful. That being said in 10 years we've never had an issue. It's a beautiful place to camp. Playfulness to the north end, vanilla to the south.

I am certain that what you are describing is closer to what traditional polyamory is all about. In fact, there is a reason why the couples that you approach about this subject \"run like the wind\" as you call it. More times than not, it has proven to be destructive to the relationships in question. Best intentions or not, we are all human. Shit happens. Most seasoned swingers know this, and avoid this situation at all costs.
Most of the relationships that we have seen over the years that were as you describe ended in ruin. Most of the people that we have known to consider this method were (coincidentally) new swingers, who had not yet developed a sense of direction or an identity in the lifestyle. There are some mistakes that you can make in the lifestlye without jeopadizing your standing with your mate. There are some that you simply can not. What you are suggesting to other couples, while it may seem like something that would be fun and cool, has proven to be atleast problematic to many other people.
