Not that it means much of anything, but this is why I always took exception (with few very dedicated and very successful and very happy exceptions) to people calling this a "lifestyle". Most of the swingers I've met would honestly lose their shit if they made this a big priority. Most of the ones I knew that did so, did lose their shit. And much more.
LS vacation - looking for suggestions - We posted this the other day in another forum but thought it might help you out...
If you ever get a chance to do the Young Swingers Week at Hedo (especially in March) do it! In March they take over the entire resort and limit the guests in age and only couples...no single dudes. One member of the couple has to be 45 or under. The people that go are amazing! We made friends all over the US and Canada and have places to stay if we are travelling. Just spent Halloween in Denver with a couple we met at YSW at Hedo. They have theme nights every night, play rooms, top shelf alcohol, good (not great) food, day time activities (including free daily scuba trips if you are certified), four or five on resort restaurants (as well as the buffet), no tipping allowed and a lot more. We like spending our days layng on the beach or partying in the nude pool where you have hundreds of fully naked people around you all the time. The resort has a mandatory nude side and a clothing optional side. The resort is designed for swingers instead of just being lifestyle friendly especially when YSW takes over. It is truly an amazing experience that we highly recommend trying at least once...and once you have been, you will go back. We can not recommend it outside of YSW weeks because we have heard there can be lurking single men.

Curious Question - - Hi all, my hubby and I are going to be moving from DC to Reno, NV. very soon. From what Chris has told me is that there is not alot out there as far as "Big" cities that we are used too. SO... Divorce rates - How do we compare - My husband and I began swinging together after a month of dating after I, the wife, suggested it and have now been happily married for over 3 years and together almost 4. Doesn't always have to be a pushy husband or a doomed marriage. How about 2 people who love sex and watching their SO be pleased by others? Good communication and a healthy amount of trust and security help as well I suppose. But giving a negative stigma to Swingers that our marriages are doomed seems silly. Florida swinging - Swinging in Florida - Ampussy - you are not too old!! not for us, anyway. but other than that, what you say is true, this site is pretty dead, we hear from a lot more people on the other sites, but for the most part it's just talk. if you want to meet real swingers, you have to get out and meet them face to face. by far most of the people that we regularly party with we originally met at a club or meet-n-greet, not online.
Does that couple swing? - - I usually wonder that a lot when I go to bars that are known to have swingers hangout there.
