PICTURE SURFERS HANG A 180 LOL - - I think what they mean by "friends and MAYBE more" is that they are looking for friends first and if everyone establishes a friendship and clicks sexually more will follow. I guess everyone is different when it comes to the lifestyle and some take it more slowly than others. Some require a strong friendship before playing, some don't. Some feel that they may establish a friendship but one of the people just doesn't click sexually with one or more of the others and that feeling needs to be respected by all.
When we first started we were in the mindset that we had to find "best friends" with benefits and quickly discovered that we don't necessairly need to be best of friends, we do need to like the other people though and feel that attitude and personality are very important to us. We've been fortunate enough to maintain a friendship with everyone we've played with and some that we haven't because one of the group just couldn't make it to that level but we still maintain contact with each other.
I guess what I hate the most is when you run across someone that thinks that just because you are in the lifestyle and on a swingers site you automatically have to lay down and spread for anyone that asks. Doesn't happen often but seems like we get more than our share of it.
The Fun of the Chase - - I wouldn't even call it "the fun of the chase" as much as just liking to get to know people a little bit before jumping into the sack. I know there are plenty of swingers who really prefer no prelims of any kind and just getting down to the sex but that's not usually us.
For us there has to be an attraction on at least another level beyond simply physical attraction. Personality and being able to carry on a conversation are very important to both Ms. Evil and I. We much prefer to talk, at least a little bit, and get to know people a bit better and maybe flirt and tease and kid around a little bit. We find that it makes the sex a LOT hotter if we like you at least a little bit first. :-D
What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - I got a bit bored reading all the replies, plus it is pretty late at night, so I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned. From what I remember, the couple who started the site are from Utah. Since it started here more of the members are from here. I think it is one of those things where once you build up enough critical mass in an area it really starts to grow.
find a girl to join us - -
You guys think you're the only ones looking for a single girl? Welcome to the club. You have to aak yourself what you bring to the table, that sets you apart from the literally thousands of couples here looking for the same thing! My advice is to be patient, respectful, social and realize that YES this is a couples site!! Also a more flattering pic of the hubby wouldn't hurt. (Just opinion, no offense intended!!)
Oh Oh!!!! guess I better not use this site and tell my friends and swing partners that I can't play here..... Didn't know it was a "Couples Site" ONLY, WTF? This is not a couples site.............. How lame.........
There are pleanty opportunities for real swingers here be it M, F or couples.... I have had plenty of contacts and playing on this site. Yes Unicorns are real and very hard to find, but once you have found one, you will love it. Question: Why are the single women called unicorns, they don't have a big protrusion sticking out like a single guy does, why isn't he a unicorn????
Maybe you aren't finding one cause you are all the way out in Hyrum......... Deet-da-Deet, Deet.....
Policing Ourselves - Can it be done? - Policing ourselves, can it be done? NO!
Advice for a newbie, LOL! I would say "RUN, run away as fast as you can!"
Seriously the first thing I would say to a new person/couple is "What ever you think swinging is, its not."
I think that with each couple comes different rules, as well as with each different scenario. How can you have a set precedence with as many different types of people that are even on this site alone? Let alone in the lifestyle.
I have often wondered why swingers would even have rules, I think the lifestyle is about the moment and with each moment you should take it as it comes. But that's just my opinion.
To set ground rules is to invite anarchy. Why bother?, a person either has respect, or they don't period. For every rule you could come up with someone could justify breaking it.
My 2 cents.

Swingers Kickball Society - - I would
"Black Ring" or other Lifestyle insignia? - - we use to sell the bracelets at the meet and greets but not that many people bought them... I think that when it comes to meeting new couples and thinking that you are turning them into swingers (not really the case) turns some people on so they don't want to be labeled....
If that makes sense?
seniors - why is it so difficult to find senior swingers or single ladies? - KITTY,
You seem to be a very presumptuous person. I was born in South Carolina and have lived there on and off. I was also a soldier for a time in the south. I am not from Utah. I have only been here for a little over a year. I was raised in Oregon. I have lived in both extremes. I have seen both sides of the world. I could care less what you are apologetic for.
The bottom line is, that a Southerner's shit stinks just like everyone elses. They have and still commit atrocities in the South, just like anywhere else. Just as there are people that are hospitable in all of the world. Southern Hospitality is no more present than Northern Hospitality. Where you are from says nothing about the individual. If you understood any of what I said, you would know that. Your post suggested that the state you live in has something to do with your tact. That is absolute disinformation. It is propagandist intolerant garbage. All states have their assholes and their good people.
I would also like to say that Liberalism or Conservatism also have nothing to do with it. All you are proving is that you, like most other are biased based upon your affiliations. Is that bad??? No. Just don't try and convince everyone that you are somehow better based upon your locale or political affiliation. We are all human. We shit, eat, sleep, hate, love, laugh and cry the same. You are no better than the next.
Remember, it was you that was making the bold statement that where you were from had something to do with your tact. So, before you imply that I am somehow bitching at you for expressing your opinion remember, you posted it for others to reply, that is the point of this forum. I am after all giving my opinion as well. So feel free to post whatever you wish, as I am doing the same. Thank you.
-Don-
P.S. It is bad form or improper etiquette to type in all caps when posting in a forum or chat, as it is considered yelling when doing so. I figured you would like to know, given the subject of etiquette and tact. Oh and it was Bobby McFerrin that said, "Don't Worry Be Happy". Bob Marley said, "No Woman, No Cry". LOL!
Stainless Steel Kitchens? - Stainless Steel Kitchens? - We are thinking that we want the cabinets themselves to be stainless but the counter top to be some other material because it is more likely that scratches or stains will occur on the counter tops than on the cabinets or the appliances with exception of the stove. Stove tops (like swingers posting in the forums) can take a lot of abuse if you cook a lot. Some wear and maybe even some scaring is bound to happen. We are looking more for low maintenance functionality and dependability than high maintenance glamour that you are afraid to touch or that has a quick break down once you actually start to cook. We just love a kitchen that just screams use me harder, harder, yes please. As I said earlier we are more like an adventure base camp than the Ritz Carlton. The designer we know and trust and so far are planning on using has a team he works with it seems but we can pass anyone's name along to him and yes we will be discrete. So far he has never had a request for a steel kitchen so we are looking mostly for someone that has access to the steel cabinetry and some experience in installing steel kitchens. We are still open to other options so long as the durability might be comparable.
Wendover questions - - Anyone know how to find a place for happy ending massages?
Any couples going in the end of march?
Are there any swingers clubs?
What is there to do?
