Help us understand double standard?? - - Ok all.... first dont flame us just a simple question. Why is there people in the swing lifestyle that dont swing both ways? Let me explain why are there so many swingers that only seek females? Isnt the purpose in swinging to trade partners? Why does only the female seek the pleasure? Is it just us that feels this way? To cover up or not to cover up - Slut shaming and the lifesyle - Sadly there are many entirely false stereotypes about swingers that non swingers and/or newbies to the lifestyle believe. Probably the most predominant one is that someone who is a swinger (especially a woman) is more or less DTF anyone, any time, anywhere. We used to try to educate those who thought this way but often they don't want to believe the truth because it destroys their fantasy about swinging. Now we just avoid those individuals because more often than not they are the very same individuals who don't understand or listen when someone says, "No."

Our profile used to include mostly goofiness -- but then that was OK 'cause that's pretty much been our approach to this whole swingin' thing. It's not all that important in the scheme of things and seems to always work out best for us if we don't take it or ourselves too seriously. We're pretty comfy with where we're at now with friends and all -- so I've toned it down to reflect that but if I were back into a voracious hunt again I'd certainly take your remarks into consideration. Good stuff! :)

I Have A Question - Poly vs. Open - We have found we are very flexible but with preferences. If we contact a couple and meet them for a drink or dinner and we have some great conversation and the attraction is there, it opens numerous possibilities. If we get naked the experience can range from OMG to let’s not go there again. Polyamory requires effort and commitment that we are not looking for, we want FWB that we can see when the timing works out. Not getting naked is ok also and sometimes we meet folks in the lifestyle that just become friends and not sexual partners.
We try to keep it simple and never take it seriously and we have been fortunate to have a close group of friends who we enjoy being with. We also enjoy meeting new couples wherever we are. We enjoy events where we can meet other swingers like Naughty in Nawlins. We have had some incredible experiences and again just some so so experiences also.
The point is we do not define ourselves as polyamory but we know what we like and we never consider the specifics of what it is besides swinging.
