asking your swinger friend if you can join them. - -
Well, I have a co-worker that I have been friends with for a while and recently found they are a swingers, it wasn't shocking to me or anything just thought it was interesting. So some time has passed and I thought I wonder if I could join them sexually. To me it would just be awkward to as him that. Obviously I'm not going to ask him "hey can I bang your wife?" I don't care if it was both of them or just her, I've always thought she was hot and I consider my co-worker a good friend. So, how do I ask that and/or is it a bad idea? Thanks
As a single male also in this lifestyle who has faced a similar situation my advice would be to just openly talk about the lifestyle, involve both him and his wife in the convo casually over drinks one night when your just hanging out. Basically plant a seed and see if it grows, realistically if they are into the lifestyle and are open to the idea they will invite you, but its best to let them think its their idea to include you. For some couples it just might be out of bounds to include friends into their sexploits.

Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - We don't care either way...but, Yolo cruises and Swingular, amongst others, have partnered together to sponsor a "Lifestyle" cruise for couples & single females only, thus excluding single men. Go figure. Oh, Hugh Hefner is still legally married! Go HEF! What about the term poly-amorous for singles? eh, who knows. Commence the a** ripping.

Girls that are into DP - How common is this activity among the swingers? -
I can't wait to try DP! and I want to try having 3 guys at once, so I can have one in my mouth too...
Oh yes, now you've got her cumming! Totally forgot about one in her mouth and I should know better. ;) We'd love to try this too. how about DVP, DP, and one in her mouth, at the same time? I think we've tried the double vaginal with toys while I was slipping in the backdoor.......I'm thinking it was a bit much for her. Still hot as hell though!!

Party Etiquette - How do people manage risks? - Mr here. So, the party that we went to before Halloween was a good party. It seemed much like another orgy that I participated in a few years ago, except this time I had Ms. Honeybunny with me :) That made me a little more aware of how people were interacting with each other, and I have a few questions about etiquette in those situations. Obviously, protection is important for a number of reasons, and pretty much everybody there was using condoms, cleaning toys after use, etc. However, one thing that I did not notice anybody using was dental dams or any kind of protection for oral sex. In a world where 70% of Americans have some form of herpes, for example, how do you deal with the risk of contracting it if you don't? Or what if you have other STDs? I would hope that if you have a temporary STD like chlamydia you would avoid lifestyles events until it cleared up, but nobody was talking about it. What if you have a more permanent STD, like the herpes mentioned above? Or AIDS? Or HPV? Two of those are really common, but also relatively harmless; do people just assume that other swingers do/don't have them or that the risk in not meaningful? I didn't really hear anybody talking about it, but I"m not sure if that's unusual or not. What's the typical protocol for situations like that? Also, now that I'm thinking about it. What would be the protocol if you DID pick something up from an event?

Mardi Gras unzipped in slc - - We've thrown very large Mardi Gras parties and Halloween Parties in the past, and most people showed because we made them pre-pay for tickets, so they had some investment in the party. Most of them turned out good. What cracked us up the most was--the ones who come and seem to act like we owe them some kind of magical fuck-dust or something; I mean if you are dumb, don't work out, and have a rude personality, just going to a party of people in the lifestyle doesn't guarantee you to get laid or be invited to an orgy. Two times we gave a trip to New Orleans and as soon as we rewarded it we started getting attitude that we owed this person more. No feeling of thanks, but more of 'what else can I suck ot of you'. The Last one we gave a prize to New Horizons in Seattle--our favorite swing club. Got the same attitude from the couple, really even condescended to us. It was really a shame. We forgot to get them a car to drive around, our bad. Gave you a 2000 gift, get your own effen car, cheepasses. Well, anyway. My message here is be thankful for those who try and if you win something, show some effen gratitude. Swingers can be such cheep asses. Pay for the show, enjoy what you can and be more thankful, cause if you aren't you may scare off those, like us, who tried. ;) We didn't know of this party but we're always up for a good one. We usually invite a couple with us so no-matter the outcome of the party we'll have a good time. I recommend that to those who attempted to go to this party and bemoan how lame it was...so there I am with FUNNESTCOUPLE81. Life is what you make it.

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - Maybe KUTV can send a techie or two this way to get the site moving a little faster. That would be worth a sexual act in of itself.

Here's something Ive been curious about - - In a nut shell, perhaps, we should conclude that, Cheaters and the truly happily monogamous are the only ones that are not swingers to some degree if you define swinger as someone that prefers a sexual existence that is not 100% monogamous and lives that way honestly. Then we can suggest that swinging has a place for most people. Preference is not the end all in what actually happens. Natural selection means that some will be more successful at mating regardless of their preference. Some singles and some couples have no problem getting laid. They will be able to successfully have sex on their own terms. Singles and couples with a predisposition for pair bonding or tournament mating will find their way into the swing scene and either be couples or singles not out of preference but out of the circumstances surrounding their lives. Sex is so important and so strong an instinctual drive people will take it as they can get it and have sex in circumstances that do not exactly match their instinctual preference if their instinctual preference is not readily available. In nature pretty much all mammals, birds and many other species fall into two mating categories pair bonding or tournament species. Interestingly enough, many scientist who study humans from the point of view of our biology and our social interactions currently feel we fall somewhere in between with a lean toward pair bonding for many. Women may tend to be pair bonders in higher numbers than men. Humans, generally, be they pair bonders or tournament mating sorts are not 100% monogamous by nature. A significant percentage of humans given the possibility of some level of non-monogamy will still choose monogamy but most would enjoy the some non-monogamous activity even if it will never actually happen due to social conditioning. Pair bonding species are usually not 100% monogamous but do for lack of a better term desire and if they are successful have a significant other which shares the burdens and I would say the joys of raising a family together. The desire and the instinctive drive to have a partner is stronger than the desire to avoid the burdens and work associated with maintaining a
