Frustration with Friend Requests - - The underlying problem is the "we're swingers, you're swingers" mindset. Been trying to do my research (OCD helps with that) and from what I can tell your concerns are probably not a lot to worry about as far as creepers and such. After reading reviews and talking to many different couples, it sounds like the atmosphere at most places is a safe and mostly respectful one. I haven't heard a lot of complaints about people being overly aggressive or a nuisance. Obviously you have control over your own body and if you are firm with most people I don't think it should be much of an issue. You might see some things you might not want to ( one person told me of the 350 pound guy who was naked walking around with an ice cream cone and an "innie" for a weiner, all the while checking out the hot women. Creeper material? For certain. But dangerous or uncontrollable, nah. And as far as people buying the packages, if you purchase through a site and go with a group, only that group is allowed into the activities, something I think is worth paying extra for. Also, it allows you to see who is going prior to the trip and you can chat and make some acquaintances before you even meet in person. As far as sex and having people around you don't want there, that's easy. Just go back to your room. If you are having sex in public then I think you are basically giving everyone a thumbs up to watch. In short, haven't heard the horror stories of the "sociopath" though as with any party, even our Vanilla parties, some people do drink too much. Life happens and all you can do is control yourself and limit your interaction with the Cray-Crays.
The nicest resorts are the Desire. It sounds more like a nudest colony at times so I don't think we would go unless there were a takeover. If you want to walk around naked, have the best accommodations and MAYBE get to play, I'd try Desire. If you want a party scene with lots of swingers, Hedo or a cruise. The majority of people who go are swingers, so a lot of opportunity to play. If you just want a fun place to go topless and and maybe meet some swingers, Temptations is cheaper, but only about 20-30% if the guests are in the lifestyle, so the chances of you finding someone you really connect with is reduced. The cruise has thousands of people, so the best chance of meeting all kinds of people, but I hear it can be overwhelming. It sounds like on a cruise, to make the best of it, you need to be outgoing, talk to a lot of people and not care about the older, less-fit crowd mixing in. There are a lot of super hot people on the cruises as well. Just a huge mixing bowl of peeps. Anyway, there is my ramble. I think we have settle on Young Swingers week in April at Hedo2 or the Cruise. Not sure yet.
Dinner party - - We would love to attend a classy party so tired of the stand around slamming drinks with people type party. I think the wife and I would be more inclined to enjoy a touch of class and I know from there things could become more and as for fun oh HELL yes!!!! Again anymore the lifestyle has become a fuck fest and that is a major turn off for most. Sorry the pressure to play is become a game of who can fuck who, rather than lets meet people for long term friendships who enjoy the benefits of possible play. I'd love to dress up and meet people for a few drinks in a classy social setting verse the meat market so if you're planning on setting one up include us and let's kill the myth that all swingers just want a trash fuck.

If they aren't they won't know what you are talking about or if they are then you have a straight answer...yes. No one will ever be offended if they don't know what you are talking about. Also you might ask what they are talking about if they seem to be hinting..... Like ask... are you talking about swinging?... I guess it all depends on a number of factors... Are these people neighbors, someone you've just met and don't really know them or them you....Are these acquaintences that you know fairly well that are talking maybe to find out if you are in the lifestyle... So the reaponce is basically conditional... Can they hurt you? If not then what's to loose.
Wannabes and net fakes - Will the real lifestyle members please stand up - We have learned the best phrase to learn quickly in this lifestlye is "NEXT" lets face it this is nothing but a #'s game you have to contact loy=ts to find the few good ones and once you find those good ones it makes all the weeding out of the fakes and flakes worth it. Like we tell people a social meeting or two is fine but we do not intend to date you a year before you decide if you want to play with us or not . We just wish people would have the balls to say at least "no thanks" or tellthe truth they are "wanna" swingers into only the fantasy of it and never really intend to do it. What really defines a TRUE swinger? - - We never have viewed single males as swingers. To to us and most of our swinging couple friends single males are cheap sex toys you carefully pick from, use them on rare occasions and then return them and forget them. Sounds harsh but the great thing is that is exactly what the majority of single males that we have all met like. We have only met a couple single males out of hundreds that have broken the mold and surprised us.
Policing Ourselves - Can it be done? - Recently a suggestion was made that we as a group need to educate and police ourselves as a group in this our chosen lifestyle (thats swinging for all us simple folk) .
In order to do this effectively wouldnt there have to be some set of rules that everyone would be expected to adhere to? What would those rules be? how would they be created and ratified? would swingers from their respective states send represntatives to a central location to vote on these rules(oops now we get into politics) ? If you were teaching a new person (regarless of marital status or gender) the rules about swinging what would you teach them first?
