visiting town for a few days - meet - How do you go about and meet swingers in a new town if you were going to be there for a day or two.
Black Ring - Who has theirs and how have they caught on? - We both have black rings and have worn them in public and to places like Habits, etc.. And we've done this off and on for well over 10 years (when we first became aware of what seems to be more or less a swinging urban legend). To date we have NEVER been approached by another couple and asked if we were swingers or anything close to it. Maybe we're just fugly and nobody wants to fuck us but the whole black ring thing is a big FAIL IMHO. Even if it ever did catch on it probably wouldn't take more than a few days to a few weeks for it to get out on social media, etc., and everyone would be looking for swingers with black rings in public (not unlike times we've gone to takeovers and had to wear wrist bands and it quickly got out to hotel staff, other guests, etc. that people wearing wrist bands were there for a swinger event). Most people (not all) involved in swinging really don't want their vanilla friends, family or coworkers...or even strangers to know they're swingers. Most vanillas pretty much classify swingers as worse people than Ashley Madison cheaters and used car salesmen. Much easier in our opinion to "meet" people at dedicated meet and greets or parties or here and other places online than to hope for serendipitous encounters out in public.

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - Just watched the story on the news and was EXTREMELY relieved it wasn't aired on a Get Gephardt segment. LOL Yeah, so the lady in question said she decided to swing with her husband to save her marriage after she gained a lot of weight (guess swinging is easier than a diet or taking up jogging) and that they went to "orgies" all over Utah...naming several cities and "even Bountiful" (the story showed the Bountiful temple a few times during the piece- she said being a Mormon she felt very uncomfortable swinging in a home within view of the temple). She also claimed that she was at a house party and the hosts young kids walked in. She says she started drinking because going to parties she felt like she was in the 5th grade where you wouldn't be chosen for a team...her husband was chosen to play but she wasn't. She has to go to rehab for her drinking. Eventually she wanted to quit but her husband supposedly refused and started going out solo and gave her gonorrhea. They are now divorced. Heidi Hatch was the reporter and apparently she started a profile and was communicating with couples here on Singular (yes, they identified Swingular by name and showed numerous screen shots and even some profile names) who wanted to make sure swinging wasn't portrayed in a purely negative manner. RV Swingers? - - Well, shortly the wife and I will be buying a new RV and traveling full time for a few years. Is there anyone from the lifestyle that are full timers? We are pretty excited to get out and travel some and meet new peeps.
Swingers at work... - - About a year ago my wife was visiting one of the fast food stores she owns. It is one in the next town that has a full time General Manager and a manager so she spends minimal time there.
She was walking thru and over heard two employee talking. Clearly it was about a local swing club but no one but a member would know.
She discretely took one employee to the side and asked if they were speaking (female first name) and (male first name)'s party. She was.
Ended up that several of the employee's were attending the same party we were going to. Apparently we had all been going but just never on the same nights.
Needless to say it was an interesting evening the time where my wife and I along with three of her employees were all at the same party. A little space was given but by the third or forth time we were all at a party at the same time it worked out ok.
The no play rule is VERY firm and it is NEVER mentioned at work. Thank goodness the store was eventually sold to new owners so the concern is much less.
