New members - Any new members find it hard to meet people on here. - Yes, the lifestyle, like high school, church, and many other things in life that revolve around people in groups large and small, is cliquey. Luckily, many swingers are always on the lookout for fresh meat (that's an impolite way to say people they haven't already fucked) so if you don't mind doing a little homework...and slogging thru a whole BUNCH of profiles, some of which could even be fake...or at least disingenuous, you will eventually find plenty of really awesome people to hang out with and maybe even, if you're lucky, have a little sexy time as well. Nobody ever said this would be easy...they just said it would be worth it! [em]Emo_12[/em]

A Place In The Lifestyle - - Well, It sounds more like a Utah club. We do not have swinger clubs here. Unless the club wishes to work at keeping people that are not in the lifestyle out, you may have to find another way to determine the swinging couples. Maybe the swinger wrist bands are a good idea at that club to identify others in the lifestyle. It would take some work on your part talking with those you may already know are in the lifestyle. You may not wish to wear them other places but it would solve a lot of problems for you in the club.
Now the other question of who belongs is very difficult to answer. A lot of swingers do not swing very often or with very many others. So I see little difference between meeting one lifestyle or the other. As long as you are comfortable with your lifestyle, and asking another person if they are in the lifestyle, I do not see how you can lose. In Utah the chances are always slim that anyone will say yes straight away if they do not already know you. I would say that since it is a swinger club you have a greater chance than we do here at finding people in the lifestyle and you might even find some converts.
Too Young to be Taken Seriously? - - My husband and I are interesting in joining the lifestyle, starting slow. However I've noticed the majority of people here are older. We both are twenty, is this too young to be taken seriously in the lifestyle? Should we keep at it, or come back in 10-20 years. I do understand if people want their partners to be old enough to have an adult beverage with them. But perhaps it is the maturity level? Maturity level is different for everyone. There are twenty year olds who act years older than they are, and sixty year olds who act younger than we are. To each their own I guess. I'm not asking to have everyone be my friend right now. I'm just curious as to what people think about younger swingers. What is your opinion about say twenty-five or younger couples?

What incentives do people have to come to this site? What exactly would make this site "hot" in Florida since you seem to think this doesn't matter. The swinger community is huge in Florida and the tourism factor is important to the lifestyle businesses too. You can always find an event scheduled every Friday and Saturday on SDC and SLS. The Bliss Club and Skin host parties every month. People want to get out, party and have fun, that is what it's all about.
I wish it weren't true but you are simply wrong stating that this site is hot in Florida...take it from someone whom actually lives here (and belongs to several sites)!

If only you could tell in public who is and isnt in the LS - - Next time go to Lagoon with another couple. French kiss your own spouse and then swap and French kiss your friends spouse, and make it very public. If two or more of you are bisexual, then do some same sex French kissing. Do this while wearing wet tee shirts with upside down pineapples on them and while waving your right hands around with a black ring on your ring finger and we pretty much guarantee someone will approach you. Unfortunately, it might be security, but you will get approached.
