Playing with \"swingers\" vs \"nonswingers\" - - We prefer not to mix the two sides of our life up! That is, we keep to ourselves that we are swingers with everyone except other swingers. Isn\'t that what \"Discreet\" means? We have only had one couple approach us at a \"non-swinger\" social function and talk to us like we should be getting together with them - all while in front of our real-life friends. When this thoughtless couple left our table, the other 3 couples there asked what that was all about. We actually ignored the question and went right on enjoying our evening -- without any real trouble. We always talk to each other in private when we are out at a night club and wonder between ourselves how this or that person might be in bed -- but we never act on those impulses. It is our belief that most people would be shocked, but not necessarily in awe about our swinging behavior. Therefore, we do not ask non-swingers to play with us. Most of the other responses here are right on target. Those that do not have experience with swinging are not really prepared to handle the social/sexual interactions between 3 or 4 people -- hell, most swingers we know (including us) don\'t do a very good job of handling it! On Premise Swingers Club - SLC - I have attended lifestyle clubs in Vegas and Phoenix Arizona. Red Rooster once had trouble with the law over the building permits. The city made it tough on them but Mike and Chris got through the permit recertification. They also were able to prove that they accepted Donations at the door not a fee. And did offer food and had no serving Alcohol of their control. It was BYOA. In Phoenix Guys and Dolls kept the police out of their hair by creating a compound for vehicles. When the cops were there the gates would close and search warrents were needed. Thus just cause was a requirement. Also asked for Donations, had food serving. I recommend if you plan to start a club. Go to other cities and with contact to the establishment to talk to their attorney ask for help in educating how their system works. That would go a long way. Choose a good industrial area to organize and set up operations. Maybe a closed hotel could be the location, like Edgewater West in Oakland California. Wish you luck.

It is a little bit dated but the book is research based and has a lot of interesting information from history to demographics. It is not a book to grab for raw excitement but a very good book for intellectual discussion. Labor Day Weekend - - We're going to the big annual ferret racing event in Urda then gonna find the nearest five star hotel with an on premise three star Michelin restaurant (probably The Four Seasons in Stockton or maybe the Waldorf in Tintic).
