Meet and Greet GANGBANG - - I am 'just a single guy' to many here, however I have had success with what you are talking about. Several years ago KOIGIRL, who isn't active anymore, posted a party invite and I hosted. We had gone to parties and it seemed like nothing happened until someone got drunk and then the shit hit the fan.
We held a party where there were 8 couples plus me and Koi. Every couple spent 15-20 minutes getting to know everyone else. It was very comfortable and after an hour and a half, the talking turned into debauchery (for those who were interested). This isn't the only way to do it, but I will say this. Every one was naked, not all together, but same room until groups split off. Also, most all of the alcohol was still there.

Can someone enlighten me? - - Naw, no trick. We just post shit to vent or to amuse ourselves. We aren't really out there beating the bushes for more pussy/cock. Have plenty if we want it and are at that phase in our swinging careers where we're content to just hang with our homies...or any one of the great friends we've made over the years and if sex happens then it's the frosting on the cupcake but it's certainly not required or expected. Just thought it terribly odd that simply changing our primary pic would elicit so many blind friend requests and that so many would be from people who have zero content in their profiles. Just because we're semi-retired swingers doesn't mean we don't like meeting new peeps and couldn't be enticed to come out of retirement for the right offer.:-) C'mon you guys, if you're gonna write/friend request us at LEAST read our profile (yeah I know it's longer than War and Peace, but there are SUBTLE little "hints" in there about what we are and more importantly aren't looking for). And give us SOMETHING that might give us a reason to think we have something in common or would want to at least hang out over drinks or something. We've totally broken the ignore button on our 'puters already.
Friend collectors or swingers - - We love to meet new people! That said though......the way we tend to meet them is either at a Meet and Greet or at a house party. If they happen to send us a friend request, and it is someone we think we would like to get to know, we invite them to one of our own frequent house parties. Unfortunately, neither of those avenues are happening right now for us.
We have accepted a number of friend requests this year with hopes of inviting them to a small house party soon.....but not until we feel pretty confident it is safe for all involved. A fact I know some want to ignore, but we have personally known two friends in the lifestyle that didn't survive the virus. We don't want to know anymore.
So we wait a bit longer.

What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - I got a bit bored reading all the replies, plus it is pretty late at night, so I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned.
