weight approperate - - First off I am the one that is not the ken, she is the barbie and a half. I have always been a large person today I am 61 300 and the truth is that I spend about six days a week inthe gym and work out three times as much as my very sext lady and if you dont know me dont judge. That is for all the psuedo swingers that view the body as an object. Whether male or female the jist of the life style is that it is a "LIFESTYLE" we are all going to look at what attracts us but the truth is that we both have had incredible time with people that did not look like Barbie or Ken. The real people in this world far out number those few. Health is a personal issue and as a nurse I have been witness to some very sexy individuals that were not healthy. Take life everyday as if it were the last and quit looking at the skin deep issues. pleasure is pleasure and it dont matter who you are and you can ask a couple of priest i know there is always something pleasure brings to us all. We got in the lifestyle because there is more than just a body to enjoy, someof our best meetings have become longterms friends as well.

Is it a “preference” or is it “ discrimination” - -
Discrimination can be against non-physical attributes as well (Political and religious are the two most obvious nowadays.) But I would call almost everything else a preference, at least as far as swinging is concerned. One of the biggest hurdles we found when we first entered the lifestyle was people who were upset that, for whatever reason, we didn't want to fuck them. Their mindset was, "We're swingers and you're swingers so what's the problem? Let's fuck!" We did, eventually, come to the realization that in some instances our first impression, based on looks or whatever, could be overcome, in time, by getting to know people better and eventually finding a different kind of attractiveness that trumped simple physical attraction. YMMV
Oh of course discrimination can be against non-physical ... my question was can a non-physical attribute be just a preference and not be discrimination .. it sounds like you think so ... other than maybe with political or religious? Hmmm so let’s say someone keenly despises Trump, or Bernie (not that anyone does lol) .... like really can’t stand them. And someone crazy hot that LOVEs Trump, like wears a red MAGA hat loves, wants to hook up ... Could the political disposition “preference” still be only a preference, and not discrimination, if it gets in the way of any possible sexual attraction ?

How to identify yourself as a Swinger - -

We all come into a world full of pressures to fit in, put on the uniform and conform. Deep inside we have these desires, many of which are instinctual and that we can never really shed or mask and probably many more are a creation of environmental influences. We all seem to want to define ourselves as some sort of being with a center and we perhaps feel the need to display our behaviors to others and to ourselves as a cohesive definable, reliable and easy to understand image of a reality. In fact we are delightfully pliable and ever in motion and we can never really be defined as more than a snap shot in time never to be repeated at any given moment. The more rigidly we strive to label and define ourselves the more trapped and disillusioned we may feel. The application of our definitions on others may in fact become walls and barriers to deeper, sexier and more delightful interactions. Relax and experience. Ceasing to define ourselves and others may be the secret to discovering and more fully enjoying our own company and the company of others. Expect nothing and just be who you are moment by moment and as you feel desires in the moment toward others be honest. Words may be overrated and people will instinctually understand our desires beyond our words and a need for proper social decorum. Sex happens beyond and in spite of definitions. Sex that happens because of a definition may be less delightful than we expected. Hence we have all known "swingers" that become disillusioned and distance themselves from the "lifestyle". Did their sexual self die? Probably not. Did they begin to feel trapped? Possibly. Attraction including sexual attraction is very much a process of two or more individuals flowing together in a series of reactions to each other that builds and builds until sex and orgasms and joy and physical and mental epiphanies leaves the lovers swimming in a rapture beyond definitions.

Single male in this lifestyle.. - I have questions for couples and single females. -
Hey, bucko. Polaroid cameras didn't grow on trees ya know. And our P.O. box was like 10 bucks a month! Then there was the HUGE cost of depilatory creams, gaudy gold jewelry and Nehru jackets.
Well, that was the ONLY advantage to being a single male in the lifestyle back then. NOBODY was going to ever answer any ad you put in the mag, so there wasn't any point in spending the big bucks on a Polaroid, and they didn't come out with cheaper ones that most people could afford until what, late '70s I think it was? (I wonder how many people on the site ever even saw one of those) Anyway,no need for a camera or a PO box for replies, there wouldn't ever be any replies. That "advantage" was offset big time by the fact that the only way you ever even knew about any gatherings, let alone got into them, was if someone knew you and asked you. Which hardly ever happened even if you knew a couple dozen swingers, like I did, because it WAS essentially wife swapping back then. Or if not full swapping, a sort of swapping with everyone in the same room So if you didn't have a lady with you, you had nothing to offer. I was incredibly lucky 'cause I was really good friends with a few couples, friends to the point that I once in a great while got to got with the mrs. to a party. If it weren't for that I doubt I'd have ever gotten into anything. I'm not certain, because it was something that never came up with me personally, but as far as I knew, back then single guys weren't even welcome if a couple brought them. It was all one guy and one girl, or forget about it. I don't really know what went on through the few mags, because, knowing it'd be a waste of time, I never bothered. And I never had to buy disco clothes, I grew up with Hippie rock and folk, and always hated disco as what destroyed rock and roll as well as folk. Hell, the only difference in my clothes now is that the jeans aren't flares or bells and the shirts aren't either flowered of psychedelic 'cause nobody makes them anymore. But I do still have Frye harness boots, same as in the '70s.

I’m defense of single males - Funny old geezers -

We are in our sixth year on this site. We are also currently on three more sites, even after dropping two more. When we joined Swingular, we were taken aback from the negativity toward single guys. We did not see this this level of animosity on any other of the sites we are or were on. Aside from the folks from Idaho and Wyoming (and very, very few nationwide), this site is predominately Utah based. I am not negatively judging Utah since a survey or research was never done, but we had to wonder if this hatred is a Utah thing. Or was it a few couples who made it seem normal to hate and everyone just jumped on the bandwagon? Human history has taught us that ostracizing is easier than accepting. Who knows? We certainly don't understand it. Many couples correctly point out that single guys are not "swingers" since they don't swap. But, we believe that single guys are part of the "lifestyle" for many couples. Why is fmf ok, but mfm is not ok? As a side note: The vast majority of our play is with couples(our preference). But we occasionally like mfm for the different dynamics it offers. We have been very lucky with mfm and haven't had a bad experience yet, which I cannot say is always true with every couple we've met.
We live here. Our experience is that most couples do not hate single men. Most married men are not intimidated by the presence of single men. Most couples and singles whether super active or rarely active in the lifestyle don’t post anything in the forum section of this website. As is the case with so much on the internet, a few of us that do read or post in the forums, may give others the impression that we are a good general representation of the community’s mindset. Obviously we aren’t. What we read here is mostly just personal preferences. There are some thoughts expressed that we find interesting, sometimes enlightening. Sometimes people are just venting. Sometimes it’s angry venting stemming from personal experience. As for insecurities, we all have at least a few.
Well said. Thank you!

A&E New show about swingers... - neighbors with benefits.... -
Why would any industry sponsor shows about the positive side of Swinging? I doubt there is any big money in promoting the swing lifestyle any more than there is profit to singing the praises of plural marriage. The vice industry might even suffer financially should swinging really catch on. This is a lifestyle that must eat the crumbs that fall from the gay lesbian table to acquire any "me to" acceptance. It seems like social and financial suicide for the deep pockets.
Why would they? They probably wouldn't. I strongly suspect it will show only really fit, conventionally sexy, couples on some kind of a bedroom merry-go-round. Along with, if they find it, some couple or couples whose relationship gets screwed up by swinging. And I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they created a situation like that for the show if they didn't just find one. But a REAL reality show about swinging, showing people from 18 through their 60s or 70s, with the biggest single group in their 40s, with bodies ranging from incredibly skinny through obese? People who are, except for having rejected society's "you only have sex with your significant other" commandment, are absolutely and completely normal people? No, THAT show they'd never sponsor. I expect that this show, if it has any effect at all on society's view of swinging, will have a negative one, reinforcing the idea that swingers will jump into bed with anyone, and leading to even more people "signing up" in the expectation of getting laid whenever they feel like it.

BUSTED! Your Kids Found Out Your Swingers. Now What? - - DOCFRIES wrote: "Something else....as I DO work in healthcare, particularly focusing on psychological interactions...those who tend to support their comments with cursing, or "I know what I am talking about", tend not to. They just have a pathological need to force their opinion, for that is what it is, on everyone and have it taken for fact. Typically, they tend to be arrogant and have a pretty inflexible belief system. Anyway...MY OPINION.........lol"

Now there is an interesting comment. I would love to discuss this topic in length with you in my private group. Since it's off-topic and could be debated for a bit, perhaps you could join my group. I actually disagree with your analysis of the use of profantity and people being strong in their convictions, views, dogma etc. You actually described Christians almost to Tee; save the profanity (sometimes) of course. I think what you describe is human nature. Anyway, please start a topic in my group. It's called "free thinkers". Please be sure to include the professional references and sources that you use to make your assessment. -D-

Tooele swingers party 2 - Doing our second party -
Are singles invited?
Well that's a Harley the Misses would like to ride!

No response emails :-( - - So, NOTJUSTMEE, the first thing I would ask is: what are your objectives? Why this swingers site? Are you just trying to get laid? If so, there are better places for you. You're probably getting to the point that you may realize that singles, especially single males, don't seem to do well here. AFF may be a better answer, but I have to tell you, way back when I was a single male not looking for commitment, about 7 years ago before I met Mrs. Sexperimentors, I got luck on Match WAY, WAY more than any other site. If you're trying to connect with an older woman who can give you all the experience only an older woman can - I love this - go to richsugarmomma or sugarmommaclub or another of the sugar momma sites. They actually work if you're a young stud that's not overly discerning. If you're interested in being with a couple, you're probably in as good a place as any. You're going to have to travel, you're going to have to be very specific in your communication with what you want, what your expectations are, you're going to have to be very, very patient.
