Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! - - Merry Christmas to all on the State-side! (we hail from Ogden, normally) We've met a lot of awesome swingers in Utah and hope to meet even more in the future when we return. XOXO!

Black Ring - Who has theirs and how have they caught on? -

I saw a couple at scorez in Lehi and introduced myself. They seemed excited I knew.
We've had multiple occasions where people in the wild have introduced themselves to us as a result of the rings. Mostly when we were traveling (outside of Utah). It's really not a big thing in Utah, yet... but outside of the state it's catching on relatively quickly. http://www.okswing.com/index.php/en/easyblog/entry/black-ring-right-hand-how-to-find-swingers-in-public http://www.lifestylerings.com/faqs.html http://swapfu.blogspot.com/p/black-ring-right-hand.html?zx=7e2daf1b3e26bd4a ... Also worth noting... it's mostly catching on among the younger, "under 50s" crowd. The old-timers seem content to poo-poo any idea, concept, or trend that doesn't fit their definition of 'swinging'. (Including at least one person on here who spends, literally, every waking minute of his day trolling the forums making negative / sarcastic comments to anyone and everyone). If you don't like the trend, don't do it... but there's no reason to pretend it's not real. ALSO... Black Ring Society is going to be changing its name to SwingRing (mobile app name is changing as well... I'll start a separate thread on that). We think it's a more inclusive, shorter, and less confusing name..
We think it is a simple enough concept to be effective. Sometime back those rubbery wrist bands like "Live Strong" use were supposed to be a way to identify swingers but there were all these categories and colors and we think it failed because it was just too complicated. Wearing a black ring on your right hand, on any finger other than your middle finger, is simple enough. Not mandating it be a particular ring but just a black ring and no further rules, in our opinion will help the trend to spread. It does seem to be spreading. We are both over 50, and so far Mrs. Delicious has not yet had anyone mention her ring, but as of today I have been approached on four different occasions all of which were recent. My work related social circles are much larger and more gregarious, and more liberal, which may explain why I have been approached and she has not. Yes person number four, knows person number three, that approached me, so that may count as three real ring related approaches, but I have been approached.

swingers helper... - I know some of us need this every now and again... - LMAO

Children's Book 🤣 - Tim and Kate are Swingers - https://sellout.woot.com/offers/reach-around-books-come-swing-with-us

Public or Private party venues - What's the definition - We agree completely! One thing we remind our self is that these are public events. They are advertised not solely to swingers or lifestyle groups. They can be found on facebook and other public sites. We love these big events and will still attend some of them, however if you are looking for private we would suggest you stick to house parties.

Secret Swingers Club Ogden, UT - Clubs - Wondering the same thing?

Joe - Swingers parties - Wish we were in Chicago. We’d help ya out!

Swingers - Looking for colorado swingers - Check kinkster.org it's a Colorado based swingers site such as swingular is to Utah

Travel and first time - - I completely understand how she feels. And just for what it's worth, you two are at an age where a lot of couples head for divorce court anyway. There's no sense in driving in that direction if you don't have to. So, in my opinion, if you communicate really well, and are just looking for a little bedroom spice once in a while, going where you're unlikely to build a relationship isn't a bad idea. There are bunches of swinger sites all over the country. I'd suggest looking up a few swingers clubs in the area you want to visit and ask them what the predominant swing sites are in their area. Once you get comfortable with the lifestyle, and feel like the risk is less, doing it closer to home is fun, and more convenient. Mr. Sexperimentors

How do you spot a Swinger..?! - tell tell signs of the lifestyle - The wristband would be very cool for big parties and swing clubs. Diane has a necklace with an apple that has a bite out of it from NASCA (was "North American Swing Clubs Association" but now just "NASCA" because they're international ). For those that know it the symbol says it all and for those that don't know it could be just some Mac fan or teacher thing. She did get called out on it once in a very strange way. She was at at GYN appointment with a specialist and he asked what the "Apple" was. She said it was her NASCA Apple and he came back with he had heard about it and "always wanted to try swing dancing . . . but somehow didn't think it was about that type of dance" with a smile on his face. She said if it was not for the position she was in she might have had a good come back but it was all to strange at the time. Both him and the nurse seemed very comfortable with the topic . . . we had heard there was a GYN doctor in the area that was active in the lifestyle so it could have been him. The real trick of having something that both shows your lifestyle and at the same time being innocent is being ready to go one way or the other when asked. Our family sees our boat's name (Swingtide) as just a nautical thing about the change in tides and how it matched a change in our life too. Those that know us online and we cross paths on the water spot us without a problem for something more than the change in sea level. It is too bad that we, as the gay community put it, can't come out of the closet. We have no international "rainbow flag" that we can fly and no "Swinger's Day" at Disney World. Lots of places and people come out with something to sell to identify but hide our lifestyle. The problem with that is it's always changing so there is no way to know. In most towns asking about a Swing Club would be hard because there are not that many and lots swingers don't go the club route. We remain a hidden community connected in groups here and there be it online places like this or clubs or just local groups of friends - we miss out on a lot of new friends because we have no clue who is who most of the time. They need to add a wrist band for couples willing to play with single guys (or not willing). I guess it could get a bit complex - Bi female of full swap/same room/couple sometimes willing to play with single female or a single guy . . . how many wrist bands would that be? New sales pitch at a swingers club "Programs! Programs! Get your programs here! You can't tell the swingers without the program!"
