As a woman participating in this lifestyle, I figured I would add my .02. I was the one who brought it up not him. We started talking about it and decided it was something we wanted to try, it was not a decision made over night - we talked about it for quite awhile. This is not something you hear about that often (depending on where you grow up. People keep quiet about it because of people like you, who sit here and have the nerve to condemn us for a choice we make as adults and as husband and wife. We are not hurting anyone, we don't involve our families or kids. We are not trying to recruit anyone into what we are doing, if someone joins because they know we do it it's their choice as ADULTS. Every person who sits here and says its "nasty", "perverted", or "that the people who do this are more apt to be predators" have no idea what you are talking about. How dare you condemn someone for a choice they make as ADULTS. Last time I checked we still lived in America not Iraq and had the freedom of choice. You people are just like all the other people in other centuries who condemn someone for something you don't understand. You go to a church who's founder was teaching plural marraiges at one point, look what happened to him, all because the rest of the world didn't believe or understand what he did. Get a life people, quit condemning people for something they have the right to choose to do.

The point is... that my wife and I are simply looking to explore our fantasies. These fantasies are very vivid and very clear. We never EVER turn anyone down as far as making friends and getting to know people. We love EVERYONE in the sense (as long as they are respectful). However when it comes to gettin down and throwin the bone? Well... to be honest... my wife and I have to both be attracted to the couple in question to begin with. Swingers Next Door! - ABC news story on Swinging! - I caught the second half of this show while staying in a hotel a few nights ago. It seemed like kind of a hatchet job on people who enjoy the lifestyle. There was a lot of negative social representation. It was not what I was hoping for.
Hedonism, Tempations, Sandals, or others? - - What are you looking for? Each has their own strengths. We chose Hedonism after a lot of comparison because we don't like to be moderated for nakedness, like to party with fun people, wanted fun nightlife without leaving the resort and wanted a place where we could be as free as we wanted without inhibitions. If you want a more mellow place but want to be naked, Desire is fun but an older, mellower crowd for the most part. Cruises are huge and have an age range from 21 to 101. You can find what you want but limited on play areas and such. Temptations has a lot of single guys, is topless, but you can show much PDA and can get in trouble for sexual play or nudity. Sandals is a basic, adult resort. Didn't see any naked people there and definitely not a "lifestyle" place. Any place you go I would highly recommend trying to go during a takeover. We have been several times during Young Swingers Week and after talking to many who have visited all the places you have mentioned, they like Hedonism the best. Of course that is all subjective. It's our top choice. We don't go to play constantly and it isn't a fuck-fest for us. It could be but it just isn't our style. You can have sex on the beach at night if you want. Not so at Temptations or Sandals. Desire seemed to mellow for us.
