We noticed that dynamic almost immediately when we first entered the lifestyle and were actually talking about it just today in the context of no quid pro quo being a distinct positive in the column of open or poly lifestyles vs. swinging. swingin - thought this site was a swingers site - Not everyone goes to a swingers party with sex on the brain. Take the show Polyamory for example. That show didn't have the greatest ratings and I believe it to be that they used real people. Not just the best looking ones they could find. I was referencing that old couples (okay mostly married guys who aren't bi) argument that swingles don't bring as much (or anything, depending on who you're talking to) to the table. Personally we think anyone can call themselves a swinger...and some actually are regardless of their marital status.
