12 years ago Kelly and I went to our first swingers party. I was nervous and it was made worse by seeing my mothers boyfirend there with his wife. No my mother did not know he was married. Am I going to go tell on this asshole..... no. He told on me!! My mother came alll the way into to Salt Lake (which she has only done 3 times in the 13 years I have lived in Salt Lake) to give me a rash of shit over it and explained that was the reason her and my dad got a divorce (I assume he wanted to do it and she didn't). She said the Kelly and I were going to end up the same way. I of course told her it was a one time thing and we didn't plan on ever going to another party. I know how very small this world is, and it is very small, I like to think that I have kept it secret enough that the only people who knew were fellow swingers and the ones I have elected to tell.

Well I have a good friend who I have told yes.... but the operative word being GOOD friend... and her and her hubby have decided to give it a try. See if they like the extra spice. In a snese if I tell someone I end up promoting the lifestyle.... but it is very few that I have told.

Wannabes and net fakes - Will the real lifestyle members please stand up - How you not really notice who they are. My significant other and myself are not swingers we are in a lifestyle. Not something that comes and goes with the weather. We live a lifestyle. We have another lover that we love and adore and again love getting together with other couples and even groups for dinners and playtime.
We have been in the lifestyle for over ten years and have spent more than our fair share of time apart because of the Navy but even then we talk about our life together first then the lifestyle we enjoy. We were actually sort of semi-active back when we started (And of course lied thru our teeth during bishop interviews.LOL). And we've known at least half a dozen couples over the years who were outed (Usually by other swingers who for some reason decided they needed to confess or were pissed because someone stopped fucking them and decided to "name names".) and exed. :-(
This reminds us of one of our fav swinging stories. We knew a couple who LOVED to party. Almost every single Sunday, after having a LOT of sex Saturday night, they sent us a text to tell us they felt guilty and were quitting the lifestyle. And almost every single Wednesday or Thursday we'd get ANOTHER text asking us where the parties were for the coming weekend. LOL! Sadly, they're divorced now, but it was a running joke about them in the little swinging circle we were active with at the time.
