Certainly. We're just not inclined to ask unless we suspect something. The Mrs. was wondering whether a question like "Did we see you at Casino Royale?" might be enlightening. The reasoning is that only someone in the lifestyle will be familiar with the that event while others will take it to be a reference to the James Bond movie.

Meeting other swingers is definitely part of the motivation but we also like to dance. Our preference would be a swingers club with a dance floor. As far as we can tell that doesn't exist here so we're in search of the best approximation.

Our point originally was that perhaps these people aren't really as fake, as they are private. I think the scene here is actually still doing quite well! It's just changing. In our case, we're just not as "out there" anymore as we used to be....And kind of feel like maybe that's true for a lot of folks. And maybe it's our age...we are 10 years older now...and not exactly in high demand. That said...we just may have to do a bit of whale watching in Portland, someday.....
We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - I don't kiss and tell but I am so angry.....this was the second time we played. I should have known but they said they were quiet and we just assumed they needed to get to know us and open up. We live here. Our experience is that most couples do not hate single men. Most married men are not intimidated by the presence of single men. Most couples and singles whether super active or rarely active in the lifestyle don’t post anything in the forum section of this website. As is the case with so much on the internet, a few of us that do read or post in the forums, may give others the impression that we are a good general representation of the community’s mindset. Obviously we aren’t. What we read here is mostly just personal preferences. There are some thoughts expressed that we find interesting, sometimes enlightening. Sometimes people are just venting. Sometimes it’s angry venting stemming from personal experience. As for insecurities, we all have at least a few.[/quote]

Friends Lists - - Hi everybody... I think that this site started up in Utah, and is just gaining popularity in Florida. My guess is that the Tampa crowd will pick up on it very soon.
