can we swing and still not be in sin ? - - Since I've been sucked into the swirling vortex of this thread, the only way I can feel like I haven't been robbed of the last 1/2 hr (give or take) of my life is to add my .02 Ok, I know I could just chalk it up to that which doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, but adding my input seems more satisfying. I'll start off by saying that if you are doing this much research regarding religions and what they allow or don't allow regarding sexual activity it has to make me wonder if you're seriously considering converting to another religion just to save yourself the guilt of sin brought upon by whatever religion you happen to be at the moment. All religions have been formed and molded over the years by people. People who are not perfect, who have their own agendas. A sense of right and wrong doesn't come solely from religion. Many religions would like you to think that in an attempt to keep you in their camp and they'll be more than happy to tell you what is right and wrong for the rest of your life (in case you can't think for yourself). But if you have to switch religions just so that you can sleep at night after a fun-filled evening of swinging, you have some other things to figure out. Or perhaps you should just start you're own religion, where you can make all the rules. In any case, I think its fairly safe to say that most religions believe quite strongly that those of us engaging in the swinging lifestyle are sinning by engaging in immoral activities, just cuz they don't use the actual word sin, doesn't mean anything. Its just more politically correct these days to say immoral. In any case though, they most certainly believe that we (swingers) will most definitely be going to a very special level of hell, a level reserved for... (sorry, narrowly avoided an obsure pop culture reference) As for me, yes I believe there is a God. I really don't understand why people go to the resorts when the cruises are SO MUCH better across the board, and they're cheaper, too... Speaking strictly in the context of swingers cruise versus swingers resort: -----[ Swingers Cruise Pros:]-------- - Lower Price (compared to resorts, it's a lot cheaper overall, especially when you factor in travel costs) - Easier and cheaper to get to. You generally arrive/depart out of Florida (Versus traveling for 15+ hours to get to Jamaica or something). - TONS of activities to do. Non-Stop entertainment on the ship and on the excursions. (Not a lot going on at the resorts.. one or two basic activities per day is all). - Many of the excursions are takeovers as well, so you can be naked if you want during adventure-time. (Many of the resorts are topless-only -- and if you want to do "excursions" you're mixed with the vanillas, and all vanilla rules apply). - You can be completely naked on most parts of the ship, if you want. - Dedicated play-rooms. Lots of them. (Many resorts only have one smaller area dedicated for play... which makes sense... generally only 200 to 250 people at a resort at any given time). - MASSIVE crowd. 3,500+ people on a single ship. You'll never possibly get to know even 5% of the people on the ship. (In other words, you have a huge pool of people to choose from to find people you like!!). - Better / more types of food to choose from. Better alcohol choices. - Adult-themed vegas-quality shows every single night... followed by swinger-oriented after-parties. - Higher-end facilities and nicer overall atmosphere. (Cruise-ships are equivalent to a 4-star or even 5-star hotel. swingers resorts are usually 2-star..... 3-star at best.. most are pretty worn down and kind of gross). -----[ Resort Pros:]-------- - Smaller, more intimate setting. You'll get to know everyone at the resort at the time you are there. - Much more laid back. If all you want to do is lounge by the pool all day, every day, it's for you. - You can leave the resort any time you want and venture into town. - Typically you have better access to phones, internet, TV, etc. - Rooms at the resorts are bigger (although they are NOT nicer). If you look at the activity list on a typical resort, you'll find there's only one thing going on at any given time. Most people just lounge by the pool all day, every day -- and then they go to club-style events at night. The cruise is totally different... At any given time, you can choose from 3 or 4 different activities (or just lounge by the pool)... and you can still do the club-style stuff at night IF YOU WANT.. (but there's usually other alternatives to pick from). Honestly, the ONLY major downside to the cruise compared to the resorts is that they don't do the swingers takeover cruises very often. (Once or twice a year is all you've got to pick from). So if you're picky about WHEN you go... the resort is probably your only bet. If you're flexible, don't give it a second thought... the swingers cruise is where it's at. =)

Some Food For Thought - - #1. if this is a one time or even a few times thing, then no. if after words you feel it is not for you, then again no. however you decided to add it even on a nonregular basis, or seek it out then yes you have crossed that line. #2. same goes to men #3. after you have done it a few times and seem to enjoy it then that is the line ive been blown by a few guys and didnt enjoy it as with a lady. #4. as the judge once said I cant define it but i know it when i see it. what a crock. the difference is how willing you are to accept it for instance woman on woman love during victorian era was preverted and punishable by law. now its kinky. there are a few i hope never become kinky like child porn and beastialty. #5. depends on level of involment and acceptance. some people it is perverted and some it is kinky. if it happens dont ruin the fun just go. if you didnt like it take precausion it dont happen again #6. if you are in a realationship that is open to the fullist extent of the word, i feel if your other half doesnt know you are cheating. even if you tell them later they should know before hand. #7. if your other knew then no but they might be cheating. so why turn something fun and good into something ugly. #8. from the way people reacted with the city weekly not many. #9. most swingers love their partners so they make sure they are clean. while cheaters dont care. so std with in the circle i dont worry about #10. if god didnt want us to do it then it would not feel so damn good. and remember i live in utah
