Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - I'd like to make a distinction here, if I might. I'm always a little disappointed when I read about Veterans on Memorial Day. Not to find fault, at all, mind you - but let me explain... I'm as grateful as anyone for our Veterans; the people who served (and still do) every day to defend our way of life. They are, without questions, this nation's very best. I was one of them, and my wife...so we know the very special sacrifices that every Veteran makes; every Veteran's family makes... But, remember: we have a day, just for remembering those people: It's November the 11th, and while it started out being called 'Armistice Day', it is now called 'Veterans Day'. That, my friends, is the day to show how much you appreciate what those people do. But what of today? What about Memorial Day? Well, as an honorably discharged Veteran, and a military brat...I'm very glad you all feel so proud, and I'd trade nothing for the privilege of serving this country as I did. But Memorial Day's not for me. In spite of anything I may have done for this country - regardless of whatever sacrifice I may have made...I did not pay the price that Memorial Day is intended to honor. Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - We have been in the lifestyle for a few years and have had the pleasure to play with single men alone and in party situations. Occasionally there is a man who turns things into a "sausage fest". Meaning; we have seen married men pushed from the fray by single men, and the women being overwhelmed by uneven numbers. We have also had the pleasure (and I mean that literally) of playing with very respectful single men. I hate the fact that for some one bad apple... unfortunately that is kinda how it is among human beings. Sadly the majority of our experiances have not been really positive. There is the risk of attachment (been there, not good) We like the even numbers, in a house party situation but if what we are looking for is a threesome... Bring it on! Hosting a swingers Party - - As far as I can tell by reading the questioners post, it doesn't seem like he's running a club, a business or a for profit gathering. It sounds like he's just looking to recover shared cost. If that's the case, he doesn't need a lic. & he doesn't need to ask for donations. He's simply renting a suite for a party, and he expects those that have agreed to come to pay their share of the costs. There is nothing illegal about that. And unless he's violating a condition of the room rental, he really shouldn't have anything to fear. If he IS looking for profit, he'll have a lot more to worry about than just the police showing up at his door. Joe
