Habits tonight? - - It's a public dance club that swingers occasionally frequent, It's not a club for swingers . It has it's fair share of aggressive single guys if that's what you looking for !

can we swing and still not be in sin ? - - For what it's worth here is my 2 cents on the subject. I agree with Don on what he said earlier in this thread. The entire concept of sin was created by the religious leaders as a form of control. Every organized religion serves 3 primary purposes; 1) to explain the why's and how's of creation, 2) to give a foundation of how to live, 3) to give comfort about death. From the beginning of time religious leaders have used the power of religion as a means of controlling the masses to do what the leaders wanted or at least thought was best. Judao-Christian and Islamic religions went a step farther and created the concept of sin as a method of control. They created a list of commandments and declared that to violate these was to be in sin. Some sins were of greater import than others but it all equalled to the same thing, commit too many or even one of the wrong ones and you would be barred from from enjoyment and peace offered in the afterlife. So to answer the original question here, Can you swing and not be in Sin? Absolutely you can. Sin cannot exist seperate of heavily regulated and controlled organized religion. Since Religion itself is a fabrication of man, then so Sin is also a fabrication. I don't know too many swingers that particularly care for anyone else telling them what to do, how to do it, or whom they can do it with, regardless of the area of their life. Especially when it comes to their sex life.

Bi-Sexuality - A question for the girls of swingular -

So it's a BENCH of single males and what, a swarm of swingers? "Mayhem" sounds WAY more descriptive, by the way, from everything you've told me. [em]Emo_49[/em]
For swinger men, it's a pestilence.
Does that encompass the entire spectrum? Married and single? Or does one demographic embody that term? Just curious in case I want to be incensed...or even outraged! [em]Emo_25[/em]

ogden meet and great - -
It seems having it in a "closed off" area just invites scrutiny. Look at habits, its not private but they had meet and greets there for years. You can have one at any bar, just a group of friends out for the evening and then if you do run into someone and they say "there are swingers here..." you just go really? where? lol
I agree...people get flirty & naughty in clubs all the time. What's to hide? If you're concerned about someone you know outside the LS seeing you flirting with another, just remember sometimes NOT touching can be great foreplay too. ;) It's just a meet and greet. It's a bunch of people getting together & loving life! No need to be separated if it's not easily available. Looks like Ogden needs something like this. Good idea to organize. :)

thoughts on Pictures - - Just our 2 cents on the subject.......Some people have to protect themselves for reason of job, family, community and what have you. Here we have no problem with a genital shot AS LONG as they have facial or g-rated full pics to back up what they show. We have g-rated that we are glad to send to others once we get to know them a bit and b/4 we would meet. We have seen on other sites, people using other peoples pictures and have seen some pictures that were removed from a certain site and openly posted on the internet. We are sure that most people do not want their pastor, mayor or next door neighbor to receive a picture of them shouting to the world that they are swingers! Again, just our 2 cents on the subject.

Do you long for your "vanilla" friends? - Have you been with any? -
Being new to Utah I can not imagine how you deal with friends here with all the LDS people here. But it appears there are more LDS that have a secret side than people realize. Now how to find that out may be the trick. I always cut up and joke so they would be able to get the hint so they could decide on making the move or not. If you comment in a fun way in a joking environment eventually information will start being revealed. If not they are probably not into it and you can always excuse it as joking or cutting up. lol I have found out more than I wanted to know from some friends of ours over the years. Even some we had no interest in. It is just my nature to cut up a make funny comments. So they get comfortable talking back. That can backfire too lol.
The feeling we've gotten from chatting privately with people here is that a good percentage of swingers in Utah are indeed LDS, whether active or inactive. Appears too a good number are former LDS members cutting loose. With no judgement or disrespect to the LDS reading this, I find it fascinating. At any rate, thanks for the post and good idea with joking around.

Those damn single men! - Where do they fit in this lifestyle? - jstjim72 and Ironhorse thank you. I would just like tosay that I am a very easy going person and I have had women, and couples treat me like a dog, just because I am a single male. yet when I tsake a lady friend with me the same women and couples are very interested in becoming friends and maybe even playmates.{ here is the questions I present } 1. did my looks change? 2. did my personality change? 3. did I suddenly change as a person? 4. did my sense of humor change? the answer to all of those questions is NO I didn't do Any thing to change any thing, except bring a friend. Next question{ what if the friend I brought were a male? } the answer, I wouldn't even make it in the door! When I go to a club, whether it be straight or a swingers club I go to have a good time and enjoy myself. I am very easy going and if I'm on my days off I like to drink. Believe it or not I am less opinionistic when I am drunk because I don't want to get thrown out! I go to a club to have fun and enjoy myself, when there if it turns into a lay great if not noharm no foul! And as far as the websites go, I am still easy to talk to and easy going. The one thing I don't like is that I am denied(fine) and then the couple says they have had noone interested in meeting with them. That is a little hypocritical, there was interest in meeting, just they were not interested; don't lie about it be truthful, say(we are not interested) and also say(the inquiries we have had aren't to our likings or standards) in a lifestyle that is "taboo" or considered as deviant by regular standards, truthfulness is a must! we have to have boundaries, standards and goals to achieve anything, why would that change here? I ama very succcesful business man and like to have fun, I thought that is what this lifestyle was about; fun, experience, friends and of course sex. one has to coinside with the others. I guess I have expressed enough of my thoughts today, I will step aside for someone else to express their thoughts. I didn't write this out of anger or ignorance, I wrote it hoping it will make people think before they treat someone unfairly, and I hope that it gives someone a new insight, and just think as indefinate as things are in life, why should we live in fear. Just have a good time. thanx jeremy

Poly-Swingers - Moving beyond FWB relationship - May I recommend a wonderful book? The Ethical Slut: A Practical Guide to Polyamory, Open Relationships & Other Adventures. Written by Dossie Easton and Janet W. Hardy. I found this book very positive, helpful and informative. A wonderful guide to that "evolution" you are referring to. Best of luck!

New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - My husband already posted on this topic a while back, but I’m now adding my opinion. In addition to state law hurdles and liquor licensing nightmare laws, each city has difficult sexually oriented business licensing requirements and ordinances. Yes, a nieve person will think that a swingers club is not a sexually oriented business, but city leaders and members of the public will make a big push to ensure a swingers club fits within the ordinance definitions. The licensing process is very public and anyone involved in the licensing will have a lot of exposure. Licensing applications often require background checks, names, business site visits and walkthroughs, and ongoing mandatory surveys after the business opens. Publicity and continued legal battles with the state and city scare couples away. Research Plato’s a Short-lived swingers club in NYC that was briefly open. During its existence it was continually challenged, closed, reopened, raided, and ultimately put out of business. If NYC ensures Plato's went out of business how is a swingers club in Utah going to fare? This is a link to SLC’s Sexually Orented Businesses overview page that has links to the ordinance. Most other cities have some type of ordinance like this. http://www.slcgov.com/business-licensing/sob Keep having house parties. . . .

New Yorker Shutting down - -
Whatever. Enjoy your cesspool thread of bitching and moaning about Ross and the New Yorker.
World famous swingers here gracing us with their lovely words. Flying monkeys. We had several anonymous and fake accounts come after us both on FB and here when we brought up issues at the New Yorker. And heard they are still deleting and removing people for bringing anything up on the group about the article.
