Anyone been to a Vegas Perfect Touch party? - - A few months ago we went to Vegas. We stayed at Rumors Hotel which is across the street from the HARD ROCK CAFE....this is where the meet n greet that we saw on the main page. Though we wanted to go by the time we did all the other things we were to tired to go. However, We saw tons and tons of people being dropped off both Friday and Saturday night. They were all going to a party in the same club as the meet n greet. Very sexy people if you asked me....tons of them. Not sure if they were all swinger or club promotions that you will find people passing out on the strip. Either way it was happening group of people. We did go swimming at Rehab in The Hard Rock and that in itself told us we were in the right place.....Tons of sexy people.....So would be worth a fun night on the dance floor. So next time we will go for sure and not plan so much at that time so we can go to the club too....So I would check it out and actually find the host....that way she can point you in the right direction and I am sure there will be tons of swingers as well. Poly people generally take issue with swinging as be strictly recreational SEX! and no love where as poly, supposedly, is love based not necessarily any sex....but sex usually is involved at some level. The attitude is that swinging is not a good thing that swinging is diametrically opposed to poly.
So while there are some similarities in swinging and poly in that more and more swingers are looking for relationships, i.e., "friends with benefits" ; "Friends in and out of the bedroom". These friendships are based on attraction and sex after the attraction. Poly people take the concept that poly is based on loving someone and if sex happens then OK, but that love is the key and sex is at best secondary.
I would say that swinging (full swap, soft swap) IS recreational sex. It ISN'T about falling in love with someone. That poly people would think swinging is bad because it is diametrically opposed to poly doesn't surprise me one bit. Kinda like me being a Grand Dragon of the KKK thinking that people who even can think of having a relationship with a black person are sick in the head. To a poly person, the only difference between them and a "normal" person is that they have more than one person with whom they have love in the relationship. "Normal" people also think spouse swapping is a bad idea too. Again, no surprise.
I would say that swinging and poly have only one similarity and that is that they are having sex with somebody that they are not legally married to and the spouse is fine with it. Beyond that, I don't see the similarities.
Young swingers party - sold out, who still wants to party ? - Yes, They verify and many of us "Creepers" are barred from buying, so if sold out, it is sold out to younger types, not us "creepers". Which is frankly BS, my cutey is skinnier than most of the party attenders anyways, so why "creep" after bigger women, good luck with alternate parties. Frankly most of the bigger parties are a joke when it comes to actually playing, go to a smaller house party, where they actually play. Just my "creeper" thought.

Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well. Just my bit :)
