It's a preference thing. You're in this to have fun, not do things that you don't like or disagree with. If you are upfront and honest with eachother in the beginning, you should be able to decide what works for you. I see that no one mentioned that some women are not in it for the "another man" experience. We have to remember that not all of us are in this for the same thing.
If a guy gets excited about seeing his wife with another female and not another male, there is nothing worng with that. We all know what we like and don't like. However, if he's not going to be cool with MFM, then he should be ok with there not being any FMF, if the woman decides that the fairest route would be MFMF.
We have decided that the latter works best for us. I have no particular interest in watching my wife with another guy while I pull my pud. Physical Attributes vs. Personality - How important is being H/W proportional - I suppose it all depends on what your angle is. If you are looking for friends, physical apperaence might not be an issue. Maybe some are looking for friends and if they swing, so be it. Others are looking for swingers and if they become friends it is icing on the cake.
Meeting couples at places other than lifestyle events/clubs - - We are opening up to more people in the work place and in general to some of our understanding friends. Which so far has been great, infact we've turned a few friends into swingers. We are always open about our sexuality and sex life in general so when people talk to us about stuff and they find out about our lifestyle. They tend to come back later asking more and more about it. Overall the searching through profiles does get old, but we do enjoy seeing new and old friends come on the site. That's my whole point. Why does it matter? I honestly do not get it. I opened this discussion with the intention of connecting with fellow libertines. I want to know why we, as swingers, can be so progressive when it comes to our sex lives and the liberty that we require to fullfill them. Yet, we are blissfully ignorant to basic humanity. I feel ashamed to be a human sometimes. The fact that some of the most intelligent people in the world are being stifled because of the melanin in their skin, baffles me. The sun seperates us.
