This whole thing brings back a memory...many years ago (please excuse some of the "wording" as it's not meant to offend, it's simply exact quotes of others)...
When I was a young Second Lieutenant, my unit was sent to do "riot control" for a large march by Hosea Williams and his group...as you can guess, the Klan, skinheads and other distasteful groups planned to (and did) show up to "counter protest"...my unit was scheduled to be deployed between the two groups...
The night before, I was talking to my platoon...talking about the possibilities of the next morning when the march/protest...hoping that I might prepare them for the verbal abuse they were sure to endure, we talked about it and how to react...my platoon sergeant (who happened to be black) asked me "So sir...are you saying they might call me Nigger?" Of course, it was said tongue in cheek...he KNEW that is what we were talking about...knew it was going to happen...and simply put us all at ease by just saying it and getting it out in the open...his response was so true:
"Sir, those are just words and I really feel sorry for those people who have so much anger and hate in them that their only outlet is such an ignorant display - if they were really capable of expressing themselves intelligently they wouldn't have to resort to that - when I remember that, I realize just how much I feel sorry for them...and it's hard to get mad at someone you pity" - plus, I'm a soldier and I have sworn to protect their right to call me a Nigger"...
At that, everyone in the room laughed quite loudly...my platoon sergeant was quite the philosopher if you ask me...
SO, Don Juan...free free to make all the comments you want...no matter how ignorant, angry or uninformed they may be...I will continue to defend your right to do so...if you ever come to realize just why you are allowed to say those things without fear of persecution, maybe you'll change your mind...
lost with people - florida wanna be swingers - As so many have already mentioned, MANY advertise and MANY state they are wanting to meet other people but when it comes time to walk the talk is when you find out there is a lot of wanna be's and BS out there. We changed our ad to be very blunt but it helps keep away those who are seeking additional photos, or those who just want to email to death and seem to never want to chat on the phone or meet in person.
We think this is another reason some people don't post a picture, or post a picture showig them with another couple. We respect privacy, but you can block out eyes, faces or do a few things with the photo that still allows others to get a pretty good idea what you look like without giving away who you are. Then there are the cases where all of a sudden your picture shows up as being the wife on some elses profile!
The lifestyle is truly a wonderful way to live. For those of us who live this way of life, finding other real people is always a hunt. But when you do finally meet someone you click with - the magic truly begins.
We would think Florida would be better than where we live (Montana), but I think no matter where you live you will run into fakes, liars, wanna be's, cheats and all out BS. Good luck to you in your search and we hope things get better for ya.

I grew up in utah brighamcity.. then i moved to live with other relatives in eden (above ogden for those who dont know).... we lived on a dairy farm and were a close family... yes LDS.. not to mix or go pro or con... but that was how it is.... to the point.. I am in search of the siblings i grew up with... they may or may not still live in utah... probably ogden.. clearfield area.... to my knowledge not swingers but i havent seen them or had contact for about 25 years....So who knows... but the main point there is enuf peeps from the northern utah on this site someone will know them if they are still in the area... wether it be friends, co workers or in the same ward. question is are we going to be crucified for mentioning their names on here (even tho its not sexually related) as a attempt to locate them? Poly-Swingers - Moving beyond FWB relationship - We were in a poly relationship for over 7 years and was the greatest experience we have ever had. Unfortuately the male of the couple passed away a couple of years ago. We had a great relationship we went everywhere together and done everything together. I was only referring to acceptance of lifestyles. Right now being gay is probably more acceptable to society than we are.
