Single Males - -
...get a girl to join you....Not only do you now "bring more to the table", but you have the added credibility that if you can find and finesse a girl into joining you in this little adventure we call swinging (whether it be a girlfriend, a wife, a second cousin twice removed, or just a hot fwb) you might just not be a giant douchecopter.
Ignoring the need to "finesse" someone and unhealthy gender stereotypes in general, this line of reasoning is a little troubling as it presumes that a male's company is inherently worth less. Or that an absence of semi-romantic relationships somehow speaks poorly of his character. I personally think approaching someone whom you aren't already fairly close with and soliciting to go to a swingers party is a bit out of line. Especially if her company is sought as an accessory to demonstrate to others that he is not, as you say, “a douchecopter”. Call me old-fashioned.
I know we can't be the only people who secretly wonder just a little bit about some single guys and why they aren't with somebody. Do they secretly hate women (yes, we've met some that actually do), are they just too lazy (or busy, maybe...but hey, we're all busy) to find someone, are they serial killers and/or just not very nice guys?
Oh, I hope you are! That's a really unfortunate outlook to have. Promising relationships take time to find, let alone build to the requisite amount of trust and stability to try things like this. In the mean time, I don't see anything wrong with someone pursuing their interests while still holding out for someone worthy of their emotional investment. To me, that behavior is quite attractive should be respected! It doesn't get any better than someone who is confident, self-actualized, and motivated to pursue their desires. Sadly, it sounds their gender influences whether this is seen as a desirable trait. I'm not sure how long you've been out of things (30 years?), but it's easy to forget the struggle when you're comfortable in a marriage. Things are more fluid. People don't feel the need to settle down like they used to.
I know many will say they've tried and swinging is a deal breaker for most women. After almost 3 decades in the swinging trenches meeting and talking to other people, both couples and singles, we would disagree....many, if not most, women could eventually come around to the idea of swinging once they feel safe and secure in a relationship.
This is just confirmation bias if the evidence comes from a sample of people you have met while swinging.
...those of us who DID put in all the blood, sweat, and tears into a relationship and allow it to grow to the point of daring (don't think for a second we aren't risking a LOT in opening up our relationships to other people!) to allow others access to our significant other sometimes wonder why some others want to take a shortcut to all the sweet swinging bennies with little or no risk on their own part.
If you're not comfortable sharing your wife with someone you might view as a potential competition, you definitely don't have to. On the other hand, there are a lot of people enjoy it :) This smacks of the old “you must suffer as I did” chestnut.

ha just horny...How bout you? - yep horny still haha -
i think we are all always horny maybe that is why we are swingers. plus i love loads on my boobs
I'd love to leave a load there😉

Meeting Couples - How to approach - We travel a lot and see couples we would be interested in getting with. Since we know of no way to determine if they are swingers does anyone have suggestions how to approach or bring up the subject> Ralph and Fae

Discretion a Must?!? - Let us know - We post a face pic even though we both have high profile out there jobs,I am a bailbonds woman and hubby does city contract work talk about hell storm if we ran into someone who said OMG i saw yall on a swingers site, but then me being me I would turn it around on them,if they were there looking then obviously they were looking for the same thing. In saying that it tends to shut them down with a quickness, think about it if they are at a lifestyle function or website they are there why...HELLO cause they are in the lifestlye also LOL. As for being outed to family and friends we don't hide the fact,do they like it *family that is* proably not doesn't fit into their cookie cutter world but they don't look down on us either they accept the fact we do what we do and it's none of their business. I have a friend right now going through a divorce and her soon to be ex is trying to bring her bisexuality into the proceedings and wants everyone to testify well I told him don't bring me there or I will just bust you out what about the blowjob in my den you got from so-so,its pissy when in the lifestyle together then bring it up in a divorce. Becky

questions, thoughts, opinions, - Cousins, or family at parties together? - Lol so it sounds like we all need to have a swingers family reunion and instead of swapping wives we all swap, families. Lol

Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - That would be a general definition. However, sometimes the devil is in the details. With that definition, poly couples would be termed in the same group as swingers under the banner of libertine. So would soft swingers, etc, etc. We feel the definitions are kinda important because it causes awkwardness and waste of time if we don't know what we are getting into. For instance, if we talk and you are soft swingers, we now know we won't get anywhere fast because we are not into soft swinging. You, OTOH, will not have the awkward moment where we get together and at the last minute, we do something you don't like. IMO the labels help us filter out what we want from what we don't want.

swingin - thought this site was a swingers site - Well you know that those with birds in their heads are prone to flights of fantasy. I am glad that you have an opinion about everyone, because we do what they say about opinions. You have proven your point, not that there was ever one to start with.

Sturgis 2014 - The wife and I are wanting to know where the swingers play @ Sturgis - Biker culture often includes a lot of open minded sexual practices, but the sociology of it all is a little different from what most swingers are familiar with. Some of the 1% clubs have very structured guidelines of how it all works & outsiders are not invited. Some of the more hippy-like clubs embrace more of the free love concept. There are many different unique shades between those two different examples. Sturgis is a big wing ding. Lots of people go there. Most of them are pretty open about what they are into & what they are looking for. Just hang out & talk to people. You will figure out who is who quickly enough. Options abound.

Family Swingular Members - OMFG and you do a search and see a close family member on the list..... -
yes when i found out my son and his girl are swingers
oh my... I am not sure how I would do with that one a cousin is one thing but my kids would be a different playing field.

asking your swinger friend if you can join them. - -
"I am not in the lifestyle and don't think I ever really fully would be" "K USSIR your not a swinger but you wanna have sex with you friends wife with your friend there? HMMMMMMM I smell a swinger in the making" Naw, I smell a single guy who just wants to get laid. If you aren't really interested in swinging just leave it alone and get your jollies elsewhere. There are plenty of ways for you to get your rocks off in bars and clubs and on Craigslist. It's your VERY common SM attitude that makes it tough for the very few single guys who get it and really want to be part of the lifestyle. No wonder so many people constantly say that singles aren't really swingers. But don't worry. You aren't alone. We've met TONS of single dudes over the years who've admitted that they would NEVER allow their wife (if they ever got married) to fuck another man. Swinging is an attitude and a mindset. A guy who would let you fuck his wife is risking a lot and sharing with you the most important thing in his life. If you can't grasp that concept you should just stay home and jerk it to online porn.
Yeah, that was well put And thanks deliciouslywet for your response too. I guess I'll leave it alone and if I'm hanging out with them and it happens great if not that's fine too.
