We feel you handled the situation in " high road" fashion, and certainly gain our respect for having done so. To be there to back your wife up if "no" wasn't accepted, is not only proper, but is in fact the only way swinging can matain any civilized credability.
We also agree that violence is the absolute last option to chose. Going to the host of the party as was stated already is a very good idea.
We have been to several really large parties that were totally open to singles, and only one time was there ever a problem. The hosts were informed, and the violater was asked to leave by a group of the men ( host included), and that was the end of it.
It would be unfortunate if this one incident were to make you swear off all clubs or parties as they can be alot of fun in a totally different way than meeting a couple or a small dinner party can be ( although we certainly could understand you being skeptical about it).

Sturgis 2014 - The wife and I are wanting to know where the swingers play @ Sturgis - Biker culture often includes a lot of open minded sexual practices, but the sociology of it all is a little different from what most swingers are familiar with. Some of the 1% clubs have very structured guidelines of how it all works & outsiders are not invited. Some of the more hippy-like clubs embrace more of the free love concept. There are many different unique shades between those two different examples. Sturgis is a big wing ding. Lots of people go there. Most of them are pretty open about what they are into & what they are looking for. Just hang out & talk to people. You will figure out who is who quickly enough. Options abound.

They only ask to restart a scene if they missed audio or need additional video (they are trying to tell a story, so it only makes sense that they do this)... The show represents the lifestyle in a sexy and accurate way. We've participated in the show two different seasons (on 5 episodes total) and will continue to do so as long as they let us. They do it with integrity and we are both incredibly proud to say that we are a part of such a great show. It's on Playboy TV, it's called SWING! Nothing like the drama filled, scripted, and utterly unrealistic show on A&E. We highly recommend checking it out! We're going to try and have a party as each episode releases for the upcoming season with our lifestyle friends (everyone should!). Swing Color Bands - Swing Color Bands - I agree the wristbands are a good idea but Having so many colors is ridiculous and confusing as this site is proving.
What is everyone going to have to carry a cheat card in their pockets to remind them of what colors what.
Why not stay to the basic's: One color which just signifies you are swingers and can be worn outside the club these also can have a universal Logo of choice. Have Two clors which shows Female is BI, multicolored, and Third, tri-colored, which shows Both are Bi. That's One band with NO more then 3 colors which u can wear anywear and maybe meet new people u wouldn't have been able to do before.
Again, keep it simple and less confusing.
