Why are there so many swingers from Utah? - - We were actually considering moving home to Florida at summer's end! Maybe a 2500 mile detour out west is in order?
Florida does seem to be the swinging mecca of the US. We have lived in Texas, California, and Florida and have have noted that South Florida (which should lose any such contest based on the population count alone) boasts 3 of the worlds best swingers clubs; atleast by NASCA's tally.
We are fairly good friends with the owners of two of the other popular paid sites, and they are based in Florida, so the Floridian member count is very high.
We helped to launch one in 2003 (a new swingers website) and it was 100% Floridian until we moved up here to Maryland, bringing the gospel of the (adult) "private adventure" with us. Our repeated attempts to convert the local natives to morally casual, sexually enlightened beings have met with limited success. One of our closest friends we met through a site over 2 years ago... We have still not played with them.. B and the fellow are not on the same wavelength. he would like to but is afraid that he will be too forward... He\'s just such a gentleman and B is not sure where he stands with her so she is not making any overtures to him either. His wife and I are on the same hot and wet page but we won\'t if they won\'t so we meet do things I cajole both of them and she and I sit and wait.... We have other friends that we go to diner with and rarely play.... So absolutely there are times to just do things and times to play.. A time for every season...as the song/verse goes.

This ^^ it isn't always about "hooking" up. Sometimes it's about having open-minded friends that you can just hang with, sometimes it's about treating your significant other for their birthday... but we all know, she runs the show, if she's not into it, nothing is happening!
The Fun of the Chase - - I wouldn't even call it "the fun of the chase" as much as just liking to get to know people a little bit before jumping into the sack. I know there are plenty of swingers who really prefer no prelims of any kind and just getting down to the sex but that's not usually us.
For us there has to be an attraction on at least another level beyond simply physical attraction. Personality and being able to carry on a conversation are very important to both Ms. Evil and I. We much prefer to talk, at least a little bit, and get to know people a bit better and maybe flirt and tease and kid around a little bit. We find that it makes the sex a LOT hotter if we like you at least a little bit first. :-D
