Thinking of checking out UTAH - Been on this site for awhile, seems like the partys over in Utah - Well, CBUTAH, some of the best people, period, are in the lifestyle. I don't mean the lookie-lous, or people who jump in just because they think anyone on a swingers site will fuck anyone of the right sex that asks. Even though some folks seem to think there are lots of those types, and there are a number of them, they're outnumbered by the real people, the ones who are essentially honest, who are open-minded, accepting and considerate of the feelings and desires of others, and, perhaps most of all, who are intelligent and who think for themselves instead of just following the crowd in whatever direction is the most popular at the moment. Those are the people who make it a real community, not just a bunch of sex hungry whatevers. The others, who are here just for whatever sex they can get and don't give a damn for anything but their own personal pleasure, well, they usually don't get a lot of that pleasure, not over the long run, and mostly they eventually either manage to give themselves away or get tired of trying with little or no result, and then they leave. And for YOUNGCHARM, what do you mean by "check out" Utah? You're in Illinois. If you mean to check it out strictly online, I'm not sure what you'd get from it. While there are certainly people who enjoy sexting, sex chat and sex camming, I think the majority of people want to meet people in the flesh. If you're hoping to meet someone online, and then visit Utah to hook up, well, there just aren't millions of people who will make a for sure hookup commitment with someone they've never actually met. Do your friends and family know about your lifestyle? - - Our very FIRST experience ever with this lifestyle was down in Vegas. We figured we were out and away from our home town, which mind you at the time, was a small small town where everyone new everyone, and everyone's business. Anyway, we went to Vegas for a night on the town and thought we might go to the Red Rooster and ck it out. I was extremely nervous anyhow because we had never done anything of the sort, and we didn't know what to expect when we went inside. We mustard up the nerve to go in, and went on upstairs to the couples lounge. Just as I was getting comfortable with being there I look up only to see a girl and her husband from none only then our own home town. She new all my family, and to make it worse she lived right by my husband's brother, and I worked at the same store she did just in different departments. I was mortified the whole night long.....I just kept thinking....OMG, here we are, never done this b4, 400 miles from home, at the Red Rooster, and we run into someone that we freaken know. What are the odds??!! The worst part of it, she has the LOUDEST mouth in the whole valley so I just knew she was gonna tell everyone she seen me there at a swingers club. lol Thats just our luck! Single guys and emails... - Answering all emails - except from single men who don't seem to read our profile - OK here's another post from another "Narwhal" (single male vs. "unicorn" single female) Valance I think you coined the moniker in another post and hope it sticks because it's comparative nature of desirability even with a 10 ft. pole. I really don't understand couples attempt for the exclussion of single males as not being"swingers" without also excluding the single females as swingers with statments like "stay out of the clubs, your not swingers"or" get a woman first" This is a lifestyle not an exclusive club and there are all types and interests. I admit there are many rude crude and impolite males out there but there are also the same in the couples and single women catagories too. What are my odds of finding a woman into and interested in similar sexual activities in a regular bar or dating site? I'm here mainly for the social aspect(and yes maybe sex!). My reasoning being if one can be open and honest about sex they can and usually are more honest about all other things and this has been a general experience with most of the people I have met. At what point do you out yourselves to family and friends?? - - Most of our long-term friends know we've always had an "open relationship" (and the guys are all jealous LOL), and a couple of my wife's close girlfriends know about the nature of the "clubs" we go to on weekends sometimes.
